Bibby has been very good. He's got large shoes to fill in replacing Justin Carney but so far he's shown that he's got the potential to equal his ability. I was saying last night how well Bibby has come on. If he could add a bit of bulk he wouldn't be far off Carney as he is already a really strong lad.

The best Koukash signing was Tim Sheens. He stabilised the playing side of the club, put MK in his box for a while ,recruited Lui and BMM, instilled discipline, mentored Ian Watson and then left to let Watto get on with it. Put another way,I don't think we'd be where we are today without Sheens

Can't disagree with the players that have been mentioned. Also think Kris Welham deserves a shout. Had a few very average performances early on but been a solid signing overall.

Put another way,I don't think we'd be where we are today without Sheens To be fair to Sheens, he came in as a Director of Rugby, even though he always wanted a coaching role. Instead of undermining Watson, he worked to his best ability for Salford. Was shrewd, and identified the areas we needed to become more professional in. When a coaching role became available, the temptation was too great and he rightly chose to do what he craved. I have no doubt that Sheens was one of the catalysts of our current ethos. If nothing else, he provided a buffer between MK and the playing squad that was sorely needed. Even MK recognised such qualities and was happy for Sheens to take on the roles he was so unequipped to take on. He may have moved on, but I think his service to our club is larger than people think.

I think we have some fantastic players but I personally think the best player is Dobson. Such an intelligent player and his kicking game is top class. I took a few to the game last night who had never been before and all commented how good he is. When he is on fire the team plays well - I thought he was below par against Hull and this was reflected in the overall team performance.

Dobson has a good replacement in Carney though, Warrington match. Hope he stays next year and has a good pre season.
Carnster I think you're right re Sheens. I listened to him gives coaching talk, went on for hours but enthralling. He was the one who picked Watson, got the 4 playmakers going, bought young tough players and brought in the Spice cheaply from Oz. He also got rid of the idiots, those on too much money and those too old; all to Leigh.
So Sheens the best and the worst our ex GB coach, now with Toronto, who must have made a couple of bob with all those dealings. He ruined the team we had, took away the club culture and left with pockets lined no doubt and with most of the players drawing their pensions or having tantrums.

Ian Watson for me.
Salford lad who has passion and talent. We are very well coached in attack and defence, and crucially have excellent team spirit. Just consider what's happening to some of the 'bigger' clubs like Saints and Warrington with their high number of players in the England training squad and our performance against Wakefield.
Koppy and Welham for England?

well if what i heard today is true then the next one There are beans to be spilled clinchthepinch ... this.. Penrith released rising New Zealand international Te Maire Martin on Friday to join North Queensland, while the Roosters parted ways with fellow Kiwi Shaun Kenny-Dowall. The veteran three-quarter is favoured to link with Newcastle, probably before the June 30 deadline, pending the outcome of his court case for cocaine possession on Wednesday. The Knights had tabled the veteran centre a three-year deal worth more than $1.2 million prior to his arrest on May 29. Newcastle took the deal off the table but itโs understood the club will most likely reopen talks with the 29-year-old back. Club officials will meet this week to discuss the prospect of luring Kenny-Dowall to the Hunter. The Knights impressed with the long-serving Rooster when they met him in April, but they remain undecided about his signature. English Super League club Salford have also expressed an interest in signing Kenny-Dowall after his release from the Roosters. www.dailytelegraph.com.au/sport/nrl/hundred-nrl-players-without-deals-for-2018-as-june-30-midseason-deadline-looms/news-story/c3814b2bfdc01ceddf536f6de321e1d6

Surprised that Te Maire Martin has gone to the Cowboys. He was hardly pulling up trees for Penrith this season (I would know as he was in my fantasy NRL team!). SKD still remains a mystery. Seems like he'd prefer to stay in Oz with the Knights but who knows.

Koppy, Sa'u & GOB
Koppy is by far and wide the best player I have seen in terms of caring for the club, playing with pride in the shirt and ability always gives 110% My favourite player in my 20 + years of going without a shadow of a doubt
