What do you think will happen now that we're sure of a top 8 finish?
My first thought was thank god there's not another MPG this season, then I got to wondering about how it'll all end?
What do you all think?

What do you all think? I think that we will win the challenge cup and someone will complain over the colour of the teams suits,shoes and ties. |

I hope that the players don't take their foot off the gas now that we're safe. We should be aiming to push on and gather a bit of momentum for the Super 8's and, dare I say it, a Wembley Cup Final!
Ian Watson might now be able to start recruiting for next season too. Last year we were left behind because our SL status was uncertain.

For once it's a case of tweaking rather than wholesale changes, think Mossop is near to the end with his shoulders and Hasson doesn't look like the answer (should have got Jewitt before KR) so a front row or 2 is needed and a fast brick outhouse winger is needed for me, Kevin Naiqama & bringing home MCB would do reet goodly. |

I think we will have a mixed last 5 games. I'd call win 3, lose 2. Sadly, the two we lose will be against other sides in the Super 8s.
Anyway, taking a punt, I think we will finish 2nd or 3rd with Leeds and Hull rounding out the top 4.

The crazy way the top 8 is run means it's unlikely anyone outside the top 2 can win, it's a bug bear of mine but the top of the table after the final round is the winner then a completely new competition starts, no phone a friend, no 2nd changes if you get beat, no crazy gimmicks just a winner take all knock out comp, final at OT/Etihad.
You could as a pre cursor to the game have a Lancs V Yorks game picked from all the teams not in the final, would be a worth while venture to give the national coaches time too looks at everyone with different players.
