Got to be a trip to Wembley for me and it's this year or never if the go ahead with the venue change from next year. Beggars belief why they are even considering this. The final is a one off and what bigger stage to play it on? OK, I maybe a bit biased as I'd love to see Salford at Wembley and I've no doubt they'll be a few Wigan, Leeds and Saints etc fans who may disagree, as the journey to the capital has been somewhat "the norm" over recent years. But unlike a lot of other sports, the top division in RL has only one cup competition, the CC. For the RL to say it has been overshadowed by the magic weekend is ridiculous. The magic weekend for the majority is nothing more than a p*ss up and a weekend away. The CC final needs to remain at Wembley or be in danger of losing it's magic just like the FA cup...

Good thread this one, but I can't quite make up my mind which one.I think I've given up being decisive for Lent.

Challenge Cup for me. Went in 1969, and still not quite got over the defeat, so to meet and beat Cas would be fantastic. Wouldn't say no to the Grand Final win as well, mind.

Can't believe no-one has said Grand Final win just so we can rub Wire fan's noses in it!😂
I'd take either tbh but I reckon Wembley would bring out the best in some of our players and would be great for them to have their day in the sun after their fantastic performances this year.

For me, definitely the Challenge Cup....I have dreamt of walking down Wembley Way wearing my SALFORD shirt....just to have the day out and take my mum & dad who were there in 1969 would make my day also. At least they wouldn't have to endure a 16 hour trip home due to there bus breaking down just north of London or listen to there story of that day...its like listening to one of Uncle Albert`s navy stories. Come on we can do it..just two more games...nearly there, just don't want to suffer the same heartache as watching them get beat as in past semi`s at Burnden park and Headingly,

For me personally it would be the Grand Final, however my dad has been talking about watching Salford at Wembley before he dies for pretty much the last 30 years so for him I'm hoping for the CC final....... I kinda do worry though that he would die of happiness so again i'm torn.

I used to go to Wembley (mostly with about 50 schoolkids in tow) from '77 to '99. Always dreamed of watching Salford there one day, but gave up on that dream about ten years ago. This year, my best friend from school is getting married on Friday, 25th August, so I'm in the UK and can easily get to the CC Final. The SL GF is in October and I work in October, so I can't get back to the UK from Crete to watch that. This makes it easy for me to say, "Challenge Cup Final, please!" But I'd really like both.
