There was an article of Wakefield selling their franchise beginning of last season, wonder if people at the club would consider it.

A lot of these rumours will be people obviously jumping to conclusions.
Although the Koukash rumour was correct and this BMM one does seem to have some legs.
But why announce weeks ago that we will be running a joint reserve grade with Leigh if we're going to have no players to contribute to it?
5 first team squad members plus the 2 youngsters confirmed released and if rumours are true potentially BMM and Tasi.
We've brought in so far Olpherts and the prop from Rochdale (confirmed on Twitter earlier), so numbers wise as it stands we could potentially be 5 players down on last years already small squad with no youngsters to step up.

Well the Journo who told us about BMM also said this will now be the only out going from Salford, no one seems to have mentioned that?

Intrigued as to the release of Bent and Williams, heard they were really good potential. Was it just to save money. Can see the Ben issue. As MK said if you want a bigger squad you have to reduce highly paid players (£170k + Bens wages = 4 players probably).
But to release two future players, rather than loan out or A team, seems odd.

We've got the likes of Koppy who can do big minutes and I think Murray will be used more as a starter next year. We need a couple of big, raw, blockbusting, impact props off the bench and the likeliest place to find a bargain is from one of the Oz feeder comps where there must be plenty of these guys knocking around and keen to cut their teeth at a higher level. Speak to a few agents before the World Cup kicks off and hopefully get a deal in place before the big boys start sniffing |
