I'm not being pessimistic or negative but at the moment next year looks like it could be a disappointment after this one. We need more strengthening than I thought we would and the number of changes is slightly worrying. I'd like to hear a lot less rumours and a great many more real signings.What we've got is a good basis for a squad but we are starting to look light on quality as well as numbers.
In the meantime if anyone's got inside info and or ridiculous pantomime huge signings please post as this will keep me warm during the snowy, boring sport and desert of the off season!
I am glad there's a WC to look forward to which'll keep the wolf from the door a bit longer this year!
And while I think on't I am really glad that I chose this avatar photo heroes like Chris should feature anytime The Red Devils are under discussion.

I've noticed MK saying that squad size has been too small this season, which would hint that a few more signings than normal may be forthcoming. At least we're in a stronger position than last season. I'm sure the club have been working behind the scenes at recruitment in key positions for next season already, because...well...we can this time around. I think a few clubs will be keeping an eye on the mpg to pick up a few bargains and squad players also. I can see Salford opting for a few this way. We will have significantly more to spend this season with plenty of cap space becoming available. I hope that is reflected in the quality of players that come in.

Would be a sound move to scrutinise the Pacific Islanders in the WC. I`m sure there will be plenty of beef on show.

Recognition that a small squad was not the answer and if the choices reflect quality and a bunch of hard workers that'll be magic!

Now that Oldham have been relegated maybe a move for ex Salford centre George Tyson should be made to give us more squad cover.

Cracking triple word score that would be 😁 Remember him heading to the Storm, would be a cracking addition to the props.

Is this something you've heard from a good source? Do you know if we ended up signing the 2nd row from York too? Heard plenty about it but then it just died a death.

I heard we were after Ed Smith right up until he got a pretty bad injury that would see him out until the middle of next year. Wakefield was the other sl team interested but they dropped out and got Baldwinson instead. Whether we're still intrested is a mystery

There are some cracking players in that lower league we should be looking at to augment the current squad, Smith, the Sheffield winger, someone mentioned Tyson at Oldham all would add some real depth if injuries hit. Priority for me would be find a young hungry prop for the future and have CK mentor him.

What someone like Daniel Murray perhaps.
Priority for me is;
Dobbos replacement - needs to to a top draw signing 2 quality props 1 quality centre 1 speedy winger
Anything else a bonus

I certainly think we need 3 half backs. So a Dobson replacement and a Carney replacement needed.
Whoever was going on about the Sheffield winger Lo has allies. League Express says lots of Superleague teams interested incl Cas! So you told us so.
