Moley thinks that Carney will be at Salford next season, if his body holds up.

Well if Carney isn't offered a contract then there's a quota and chunk of the salary cap for him there. Would be a good replacement for Walne and would add to our already impressive pack. Am I reading too much in to this, or is there slightly more than idle speculation here? I suspect you're reading too much into it. The rumours thread seems to be the place to indulge yourself in some wild fantasies, usually along the lines of "at some stage in the future, player X may or may not become available, and Salford may or may not try to sign him. The prospect of seeing player X in the Salford squad gives me a major chubby - I mean, forget the hard yards, we're talking some serious hard inches here - so I'm going to spend a bit of time speculating about where I'd play him. Even if we eliminate his normal position - I mean, I won't be playing him there, obviously - there are still plenty of positions to go at. Mmmmm. Yes....YES!"

I'm hearing Robbie Farah could be on his way to us from the Rabbitohs. If you're Brining you're thinking hell yes, who better to learn your trade off than one of the best in the world. If you're Brining, You''re thinking " 'kin 'ell. Where does this leave me? Third choice hooker? I'll be 24 by the start of next season, just approaching my peak. What's best for me? 'Learning off one of the best' or actually playing first team rugby? I really need to be playing regularly. I'm off!"

I agree I never said I'd take Farah as he always comes across as being poison, what I meant that for a young hooker like Brining can you imagine how much he could learn of one of the best.
If we are going to splash a few quid down under then a hooker isn't what is needed, a strike centre or a barnstorming big minutes prop are needed much more.

Daniel Igbinedion is a name that was mooted about on Friday. 22 year old prop currently on the books at Featherstone. Was signed by Cas at the start of the season but released.

In most of the games i've seen him play yes he's been a super league quality player in the champ. The quota spot he'd take up would be a worry and i'd rather see it spent elsewhere tbh.

Canberra Times states that a move to SL for Robbie Farah is possible. As long as it's not to us I'll be happy with that.

Rather stick with Logan and Brining than upset one of them for the sake of giving Farah a risky one year deal.
