Charlie Gubb is being shopped about in Super League. Wonder if he'd want to link up with his mate Manu. Now that would do, if you've ever seen him play it's 100mph total endeavour. The quota would be the stumbling block.

Well if Carney isn't offered a contract then there's a quota and chunk of the salary cap for him there. Would be a good replacement for Walne and would add to our already impressive pack.

Nate Myles? Interesting one that. Definitely the sort of old head you need in a quite youthful team like ours and it adds to the big game experience we need. But saying that hasn't he struggled with injuries and hardly played? Still its an improvement on Walne i reckon.

Mylers is a battler but he looks like the rigours of the NRL have taken there toll, I also remember reading his wife has quite a serious illness so I'd worry that if he came to the UK and she stayed there if his mind would be entirely focused on the job in hand.

I'm hearing Robbie Farah could be on his way to us from the Rabbitohs.

Robbie Farrah? Not exactly short for hookers with Tomkins signing a new deal but it's a player i wouldn't turn down.

No no no.
Farah is bad for teams with team mentality. Souths are getting rid because Sutton and Reynolds complained to management that he doesn't play set plays or listen to anyone. He just does what he wants. He's well known to be difficult and doesn't like not being the centre of attention. While a great hooker on his day, is he worth the chance? I don't think he is, especially with the fact that we're covered in the hooker department and a big signing would be better spent where we really need it.

I agree Carnster, although it has highlight since Brinnings been out that we are short another hooker since letting Wilkinson go.
For me I'd rather use the money to;
1. Bring in a decent prop. 2. Bring in a decent centre. 3. Bring in a speedy winger.
And if Dobson IS going back home next year;
4. Extend Carney (if he wants to stay).
With GoB providing 1,6,7 cover.
