Looks like Watto getting rid of a few…must be clearing space to bring in yet another top class player 🙃 so he can get 6th by his finger tips

St. Jude would admire Salford’s resilience in adopting and reviving various lost causes - Hastings and Croft come to mind. Sadly some though quickly occupy various Circles of Hell - Rangy and Hock.
Where Connor would linger is debatable. He would not play at full back, only as Sneyd’s running half back. However given his rep is more akin to the worst excessive of the kind of cocky gobshite, he’d need some very robust management around him to keep him on line.
Stop gap till the end of the season perhaps,but to be honest we are team in desperate need of props than yer man. Plus it’s questionable if the money is there.

The player is forgetting one thing here.What the club wants and if they play him.
I think there is still a chance if the light dawns for him that he isn't going to play.

Salford and west have been stupid here and forgot the main part of a deal. If the player is willing It is probably a big chance for all involved. Wests have obviously told him he wont be part of their plans, but a move to the other side of the world is a big deal, especially for such a young lad. I don't think Salford have been stupid here. They've let Wests come to them and let their desperation to offload lead the negotiations. Best case scenario is we get a top class half and they keep paying. Worst case scenario, he doesn't come and we've wasted nothing. I'd say Wests are the ones taking the biggest gamble here. |

Equally happy as well. Would seem the club anticipates the Stadium deal will increase income to include such players like Sullivan and Marsters.
