Dwyer on loan and Bullock on a permanent for Partington I’m hearing Given that Partington only has 1 year left on his current deal to get in effect 2 players for him, especially in 2 problem positions seems a no-brainer. Add in the rumoured arrival of Shorrocks who replaces him then it looks sound business.

Seems we have no money so Bullock and Dwyer seems a good exchange…filling two needed positions… Would Shorrocks come even if we could afford him, now it’s in the open where the Club is?

That’s a concern I have if you was a player in talks with a club then they come out and say there on the brink of having no stadiums and no future you wouldn’t be signing for them. Can’t imagine bullock or Dwyer would be interested unless things get sorted ASAP

As far as I know Dwyer is off to Leigh,as for signings,Paul king made some quotes to John Davidson the journalist where he said if this not sorted by 1st December the playing and coaching structure will be adjusted accordingly so I don’t expect any incomings till something is agreed with stadium, the only bit I don’t get is why would brierley re sign if such a mess he has either been lied to or things are not as bad as made out!

The coaching squad was encouraged to get players in and the supporters to buy season tickets with all this resourcing shambles known…doesn’t quite sit good with me or a number of others who fortunately haven’t forked out funds yet
We need a bit of straightforward Rowleyspeak in future if we’re to achieve any credibility. No more smoke n mirrors.

I wouldn't want Dwyer at all. He's poor and at best a 20 minute impact player, leave Warrington with ge contract they've given him as part of their salary cap. I'd rather roll with Atkin and Bourouh. As for Brierley, he signed a new deal last off-season so why we negotiated an improved contract when we are in the situation we are in is beyond me. We didn't need to do anything as he had two years remaining iirc. Even if it was one year left, then so be it given the current situation.

Correct LH Red no more in until the ground situation is resolved there are implications with the RFL. No Dwyer for us.

Even if the stadium is sorted it’s probably to late to recruit any and with this squad it’s bottom 3 really messed us up

Why sign McDonald’s aswell he’s a luxury we really don’t need, yes he’s better than cross but cross has been solid and as far as I’m concerned we have the worst pack in the league and really needed to improve there

Presumably the coaching team signed MacDonald before all this was made public… I understood we’d raised funds to to ensure we were up to the limit…that’s why the Club has to be more Rowleylike in being open and upfront
If we do the deal for a hooker and a prop for Partington we’ll survive this season

Perhaps the council failing at their end will be a blessing in disguise.
" If we .... we'll survive..." what huge ambition!

As I stated earlier in the thread, what has changed in the past two weeks. When the IMG gradings were announced Paul King said he was confident the stadium deal would soon be completed and since then we have tied up Brierley and signed Cust.None of it adds up.
