Apparently we’re bringing in somebody today according to WRD Must be a forward?…from Wigan?….can’t be Warrington, Saints, Leigh….got to be somebody who can add value, Shorrocks, Hill, Msemba??? What about that lad from Irlam?
Just a thought!

I’ve heard the opposite that we don’t want to bring anyone in left it to late it seems massive shame really but hopefully we can bring in some decent players next year

Rowley has had 20 players across his desk the past few weeks and had not said Yes to any. We have money to bring in a player but Rowls will not do it unless the player adds value. There was one being considered earlier today.

There was one being considered earlier today. Don’t get me wrong if they’re all crap that’s fair enough. I just believe with another dominant prop we could really push top 6. I can understand saving the quota spot for next year

I trust PR on this one. While we are short of bodies another player in would be welcome, there's no point bringing someone in just for the sake of it. A brave decision under our circumstances but the right one also. Small tight-knit teams need players that will fit and PR knows what he's doing I think.

But cas and Wakey are recruiting, of course they are clubs are likely to do business with them knowing they aren’t a threat to the top 6. Strengthening them may also allow them to take points off other top 6 rivals. Clubs are not likely to strengthen a potential rival for the play offs

If Cas do go down then Westerman, McShane, Broadbent & Eden may be good squad additions - but all Yorkies..

If Cas do go down then Westerman, McShane, Broadbent & Eden may be good squad additions - but all Yorkies.. Which of those is at the right age and showing the right sort of form?
I know it's hard to see when a team is struggling but adding value means more than any short termism.

Westerman and Broadbents figures are good in a poor side. The other 2 have been out injured.
Westerman for me would be in contention but the other 3 squad.

Joe still top performer this season and not many better #13s in SL. Worth a year. Mellor - No - defo as makes too many mistakes. Broadbent useful.

I had that same conversation with Bleasey a few months back. What a half back pairing Hasting and Croft would be 😍
