Who knows Russ, all other clubs seem to be signing players but as shareholders we never hear anything

Who knows Russ, all other clubs seem to be signing players but as shareholders we never hear anything I'm not surprised the club keeps quiet, I am surprised the shareholders are kept in the dark.
Fans in RL as a whole don't seem a very happy bunch at the best of times and always seem to be looking for the next thing to moan about while posting their latest critique.
A good example was Saints fans whose team played really well in a tight game but the world ended because they didn't get to their 450th final in two year, ridiculous and I've said before I hope SRD fans never get to that point!

To be fair to Saints fans, most have them have never experienced REAL disappointment in all their time watching St Helens. It's an alien, uncomfortable feeling and like wounded animals they tend to lash out without understanding. They are feared that dominance now is a shaky thing and they don't want to be the team that gets known for living on past glories. *cough* Leeds *cough*. Not like us Salford fans who may be the only RL fans who feel worse the better we do. We're immediately suspicious of success and fear the fickle RL Gods, that if we say anything remotely positive we will somehow manage to tip reality and bend physics so that the universe will drop a huge warm turd on us from a great height. |

I’m thinking it may be time for the club to release some news with a positive spin. They need to keep the fans invested, so a quick statement saying we have signatures for next season ( no need for names). It would also be nice to know if any positives have come from the new marketing staff we have employed.

There are three rules in life: France is wasted on the French, Money is wasted on the rich and RL is wasted on Wigan and Saints fans!
That was a good post though once I'd stopped spluttering.

Heard Ryan and the club down a massive offer from Leeds to stay at Salford and he’s set to sign a deal that’ll see him here for the remainder of his career.

JJR is not toxic at all. He`s been on here for years and years with 6,000+ posts whereas The Colonel and Turkey with 55 posts between them are babies on here.
He just has a different slant on the current position.
In one respect I agree - that is a committee now apparently run the club rather than an elected Board.
I always felt the best committee of 10 would be 5 dead and 4 dying.
Sorry but we need one man to be accountable and he needs to issue a statement very soon to maintain what bit of momentum we have left.
