Fitzgibbon would be a considerable upgrade though - as a starting SR with Watkins. Plus I think Greenwood, Addy, Hellewell, Wright and Longstaff are all out of contract. Dixon and Watkins aren't spring chickens either. Strange how Norman hasn't got much game time at Saints this year given their injuries and suspensions. Oh ye I’d agree he’d be a massive upgrade but for me I feel we need to use are quota spot on a prop but I definitely wouldn’t be disappointed Good point regarding the quota. Though Wright, King, and Sio are yet to sign. Only Lafai is contracted next year from our quota players. |

Totally didn't count Croft 🤦 For some reason I thought Stone was exempt. But, now I'm wondering who does and doesn't count. I thought the rules were five? So we have Croft, Stone, King, Sio, Lafai, and Wright, but are supposed to have one free too. |

Seems you're allowed seven players. I always thought it was five. Didn't Leigh get away with Lam playing under 9s for a Wigan team? Total joke.

Brad Dwyer? Not for me. He has good moments but also a lot of headless chicken moments. Plus, we have Ackers and Atkin who both extended so he wouldn't make much sense.

Yes, but it needs looking at imo. The rule was brought in to stop people taking advantage of Kolpak players not counting on the quota. The rule, if I remember correctly, is that a player had to have spent 3 years being trained in the UK before the age of 21. Firstly, I think it should stop at 18/19 and there should also be a lower lower limit when it starts, or extend the number of years to 5. Adrian Lam left Wigan in 2004, Lachlan was born in 1998, meaning he was 6/7 when they left. How much credit at Wigan St Pat's really due for his development? Personally, I think being register at a club from the ages of 4-7, should not make you exempt as an overseas player. |

I imagine so. It's not like they are being blown away in their losses. Two points against Wigan, two points against Saints, one point against Leeds. He's done himself no favours picking up centres to play on the wings and a lack of pace. They still have a good forward pack. Fages and Connor haven't played together much yet. I know people on here tend to not like Fages but he is a good player and pulled us apart the other week. He has a good short kicking game and isn't afraid to take a hit.
I think we also have to take into consideration that the league is also really tight this year. Excluding Wakey and to an extend Cas, anyone can beat anyone. Cas are showin gradual improvement too.
