If we do sign Dave Taylor it would seem a bit odd. We were heavily linked with last year but the word was Sheens blocked it saying he had too much baggage. Then Sheens tries to take him KR but they go down so he comes to us??
That aside he was unplayable at times for the dragons last year. I suspect he'll spend half the season suspended if he's playing for us though 😊. A first 4 of Koppy, Griffin, Taylor and Walker would be pretty tasty though if true. With Krasniqi, Walne, Murray as back up.
I'd be happy if Walker, Taylor, Harfaker and Brining are the 4 signings. Suspect at least 2 won't be though

What are your thoughts about Thornley? Looked good at Wigan and would make a decent replacement for Griffin.

Yes Dave Taylor. I mentioned previously about I wouldn't touch Hardaker but if their the 4 signings I'm quietly impressed. Watched Brinnings highlights on utube earlier,, I know it's a lower division but wow he looks very talented and what a scoop if he has actually signed. Immense scooting from dummy half and looks a real tough nut putting in some big hits, reminds me of Clark. Do you have the link Astley? |

Iain Thornley centre who went from us to KR.
There was a link I'd read last week saying he'd been offered a deal at Cats, as he's one of KR's higher earners and they couldn't afford to keep him without a big drop.
With regards to Kenny it was reported in the press at that time he'd only signed until the end of the season so not too sure.
And how rumours / nailed on inside info goes, agree with redunderthebed......we'll prob end up with just Brinning and Walker.

Thanks for that Astley.  Sometimes YouTube is like supermarket shopping you can't find what you want for all the stuff their trackers insist you want to see and their trackers seem to think I enjoy rugby yawnion even though I've never accessed clips about that. And I would only do so if the sleeping pills weren't working! Looked at the clips, excellent, even taking into account the different level lots to love. And when he has a close season SL level of fitness behind him what a prospect! Yet more evidence of gems in the championship. PS does he have a kicking game? If so offer a ten year contract now! |

Wouldn't worry too much about lack of rumours as am pretty sure contracts run until November so would imagine this will be when all announcements will be made. Really need a hooker to replace Lee and Tompkins, who I pray to God are leaving, as well as a 2nd row,centre and 2 props

Last time I drove though there, on my way to somewhere much nicer, there were so many bars with English pub names I thought I'd been transported to the Golden Mile! Without wanting to derail the thread, I've been to the "dorm" many of times (stag dos I may add, not a family holiday) and I only discovered the old town this year, very nice place.
