It's not my favourite Salford away kit (that has to be the white and purple one from ~8 years ago), but it's not terrible either.
But I agree, it's a good promo and fair play to Junior for agreeing to it!

For me both kits are a little bland. Not terrible, but nothing to go 'Wow!' over either. Hats-off to the Club for putting together decent promos for both kits. Definitely a step in the right direction.
I prefer the Black over the red if pushed to choose.

I'm not into any of the kits for this year. Last season Salford were the best dressed in super league. They're not the worst kits around by any stretch. I can't work out why it wasn't released at the same time as the home kit.They'd have probably sold a few as Christmas presents

Can't understand the delay and anticipated hype, yes I prefer it to the red but at the end of the day it's the same as the home but a different colour....hardly earth shattering.

There's no WOW factor to either of them, do think the club have missed a trick by not having them out for Christmas as that's prime purchase time.
I'm a fan of a black away kit but always think it should be different from the home strip and a little bolder.

I actually really like the new away kit, good effort I think. Okay, there's a few too many sponsors on there, but I suppose that's just part of the modern game these days. An ideal world would just be the classic plain red with a big white S, but I can't see that happening any time soon  . |

Well, we go to the NRL Nines in just over a week, and Raging Bull won't ship overseas so my Pa is sending it for my lad as soon as he gets it. I just hope that his (very late now) Christmas present actually arrives in time for him to show it off at Eden Park. I can't express how frustrated I feel that once again the club hasn't been able to get the away kit sorted at the same time as the home kit, just how difficult can it be?

These things are always subjective but to me, it's a kit that embraces the traditional colours/designs but adds something more creative and dynamic. The end result being something that is immediately identifiable with the Club it represents, but bold enough in its design to really strike you as clever and different. Hope that clears things up.  |
