So here is a thread which we can all voice our opinions and that on what would you do if you was in charge of club or the RFL
So let’s start with what would you do if you was in charge of the club be sort of realistic
And let’s not have any it will not work or we already tried everyone’s opinion is theirs and not everyone will know what’s been tried or not

So 1 thing I would is have a survey and speak to all the locals around the stadium and find out if they come to games and if they don’t why not and what can we do to get those locals to come to games and after those around the stadium have been done expand too further areas until most of Salford have been asked.

Well personally if I was the council I would put people in the club to help because I’m afraid we don’t have those professional people in the right places,commercial admin etc!I think the junior devils should be invested in more something along the lines of different events for the juniors throughout the year not necessarily at the ground maybe at Eccles etc Xmas parties and such get the kids interested in the club!

Yeah I feel the same the staff or standards just isn’t up to it plus I would like too see the club have great connections with college and uni help bring those local people get into the world of sports and media

Obviously I know money plays a part in all this it’s not just on but off the field the belt is tight but have we really tried everything commercially?I know it’s hard but have we spoke to every business in Salford the quays has some massive businesses have we spoke to the Chinese people?yes maybe long shots but if you don’t ask!from what I hear the commercial girl at the club only ever speaks to selco and morson and doesn’t really get out there,that’s what I have heard from someone who does put money into the club so that’s not good!

Lhr we haven’t got the skills and ability to raise the funds. Its the world I worked in for a long time and it’s not about talking to people it’s the way you talk and what you discuss; our ambitions are too low and we have no leadership.

Whole point of this thread is too share opinions and thoughts on what you would do I bet everyone on here has at least 1 good idea or thought or improvement so let’s hear yours …. If you got a great idea or plan and the club refused to listen we should hear and hopefully this turns into more than a thread but something we can put into action

I know what you mean I’ve worked there and suggested and offered ideas and I’ve even done things for free in my spare time for both club and foundation …. I’m not looking to give any ideas to the club or anything just want to hear peoples opinions…. If you like I would like to hear what you would do if you was in charge of the RFL

A lifetimes work mate…like our Club, ego usually rules over ability…too many amateurs trying to fight above their pay grade and too many vested controlling interests from a few clubs
The initial tough bit would be to get them to work together on behalf of the Professional game instead of merely working towards what can be gained by their individual clubs and themselves…Ken Davey keeps trying but

Well if I was in charge of the RFL I would change the structure of the league to make it more interesting update the rules and add more sponsors like the NRL everything is sponsored like the reply or video referee so I would get more of that and encourage clubs to find other ways to gain sponsorship like get the rugby posts sponsored …. I would create a 9s league with all teams from all league’s amateur semi pro and pro but with rules to make it far for all teams

I would like to see the a qualifiers and million pound game style for the teams who finish in top 6 or 8 depending on how many in league all teams are on 0 points and fight it out to get to grand final I think that’s what’s needed for the game
