Outstanding resilience yesterday, everyone contributed. Great to see the promos getting new fans in.
I think a home date with Leigh might be on the cards based on the remaining two fixtures we just need to beat Hull. I don’t think Leigh will beat KR but they will be Saints. Leigh 5th and Saints 6th.
The officials yesterday were crap, no wonder fans call this a corrupt sport, how head shots get unnoticed is beyond me.

Catalan are a dirty side but the officials last night was just a joke.
This was the same ref that sin binned ryan and singleton at magic weekend but that high tackle on ryan last night gets put on report.
Video of singleton getting headbutted when it kicked off to, right infront of the linesman but again nothing doing.

Salford. Played 25. Won 15. Lost 9 Drawn 1. ( and threw 2 away in those losses)
Magnificent when we had to survive selling Dupree Ackers Croft; Sio retired and Burges thrown out….probably half a dozen different spines this year

On the other hand "Steve McNamara:
"Both teams had to win that game. Salford have done it, we haven't and it's hugely, hugely disappointing for us to perform like that and get that result.
"We had moments in the game, but the big moments, Salford owned them and they didn't have to work too hard to score their points.
"I'm resigned to the fact that we're not playing well enough. We've just got to concentrate on winning the next game and, if we win that, win the next one, but it's clearly completely out of our hands now. "
Er very ungenerous; I remember Pete Smethurst at Swinton always taking the blame when it went wrong and lauding the players for any success I s'pose those days are long gone.

The comedy playhouse duo of Liam Moore and James Vella got more laughs than Ken Dodd, Jimmy Tarbuck and Little and Large together. Also this morning BBC talked about every sport, plus the Warrington/Saints game but Salford v Catalans not a mention.

Catalan are no more dirty than any other SL club let's have a bit of balance. The reffing was strange, and comedic but they did save the best LAUGH for the end with that disallowed try!
When it gets that bizarre you just have to hope you don't lose because of the decisions.

The last try was given as an infield No Try and the Video Ref couldn’t apparently find enough evidence to say it was definitely a try…not enough camera angles…
I just wonder why it was given as No Try on field but you can’t change the rules
Needs to be more cameras but for Sky it wasn’t match of the day…better than last year tho when there were no cameras there

Interesting and presumably seen by the video ref…who’s silence was also deafening

Superb performance after a shakey start, thought bullock was superb, we should sign him for next year as he paves the way for our halves superbly. Speaking of halves both of ours were superb last night, along with mellor who just gets better and better at hooker. Thought Moore was appalling, some of the high shots and the last try were terrible decisions but it didnt impact a hard fought win. Well done you red men on to Hull!!!

Our 4 props were magnificent tonight… I came back to this because it was spot on and will no doubt go unnoticed because of the clamour for at least 15 new props

Yes it was a bit like Eric Clay waiting for the fight to end before sending both off except then nothing happened! More or less the same when Brierley was pushed over!

after a shakey start, thought bullock was superb, Yes Bullock as good as our coaching team thought he was and better than he was at the Wolves.
I honestly didn't think the start was that shakey tbh, I felt more worried when they threw the ball around!
