Let’s admit theres a problem before it is eventually communicated by the Club and find a solution
There’s talk about grants but we need long term income not one off

Few things does anyone know who scored in the reserves game yesterday
Also honest opinion i do think the advertisement for games is a problem if I wasn’t a fan I wouldn’t know they was games being played we can do so much better but we don’t
The blue light day I didn’t see or hear anything about it and I work in the hospital I would expect to be told if they was a special day celebrating us but not a thing

With the Board and Paul King. Yes, we need more fans in, there are those who came last year but have decided not to bother this year - which is bizarre to any true fans who are there game in game out, we are doing better this season?? Sure, some will turn out if we make the playoffs. Commercial sponsorship is well up and has had significant growth this year. Also big sponsors ready to go once the stadium is done. Supporter Trust Membership now over 500 and increasing each game. There is lots to be positive about, as for Saturday the team were magnificent.

Agree with all but don't bury your head in the sand and think there aren't things that need improving and addressing quickly. Budget concerns in the off season after last year's fiasco have me very anxious. Crowd growth just isn't happening and we need to look at new solutions. We need to all come together and put our ideas and support to the club to address them rather than just whinging on a forum. However, they do exist.

3300 is not nearly 4000!and we can’t rely on away fans to make our attendances better,280000 people live in city of Salford so we should be doing better!I really hope with the money there putting in that the council have some presence in the club because if I was them I would be worried about the clubs way forward the commercial side is dreadful!we have no community presence and nothing really in schools,I believe the boards that are going up for people to advertise on facing the motorway will bring us revenue as council have said that money can go club and they reckon they will make good money through companies advertising on them!sorry for the rant I just feel the council have thrown us a lifeline and we must not waste it! I agree with you LHR…I said after Marwan left that we needed a robust professional Marketing Plan but we just rely on the euphoria of the team winning Cant just keep blaming the people of the City for not turning up it’s the Clubs remit to deliver. Without Rowley Watson and Blease we’d be dead in the water now Even in the 70s and 70s attendances were at the 7k average mark. We just can’t get the people of Salford to come to games. The apathy is shocking. Lots of things have been tried but non of them work. Our marketing team have tried but obviously you think they do nothing.

Unfortunately the Clue may be in the name…. Perhaps a change as was muted under Mr Koukash to the Manchester Red Devils or the Salford Red Devils of Manchester may attract a big investor 😎 only an opinion I am not suggesting it.

And this is what I don’t understand when marwan said if crowds don’t improve there was a massive response saying never then over 10000 signatures to the council supporting the club staying at stadium where are all these fans on match days?!they all complained when marwan said what he said about if there’s no support we are looking at Manchester and then never turn up!marwans plan to Manchester would certainly have opened up the commercial side that’s for sure!

All very true we need something for us to be able to put our concerns or suggestions to the club and something that can be done daily not at a agm meeting whenever they happen .. we all have great ideas and thoughts and it might come across as moaning or pointing out failures but we are only trying to improve our club …. I noticed on the foundation website that the news section hasn’t been updated since 2021 that’s shocking ….. I’m sure those on here can come up with something to make sure the fans have a voice and also to find out information

Bottom line - we don’t have enough support. Realistically we are doing incredibly well compared to other clubs. A Leigh supporter said their salary costs are around £3m with ours around £2m.
Leigh have increased their crowds to around 8k, I think the stadium is owned by the council (Wigan Borough). Hopefully we can build more support when Salford Council buy the stadium.
Way forward - Players/coaches have done their bit - 4th in league. We all need to try & encourage friends/family to attend (not easy for me as I live in Wigan😳 - but I have somebody interested in a season ticket for 2025!).
I understand peoples concerns about our club & keeping our players - I haven’t seen any financials but I do wonder how we manage. Bigger crowds = more sponsorship etc.
Football season has started & people turn up at all the big clubs & pay stupid prices….to watch the grass grow!😉😉 to watch Salford is relatively affordable.

I think one of the best ways to find the problems and improvements is if someone from the outside comes and looks at everything secretly and makes a report on what the findings are
Did anyone see the class of 92 shows on sky sports someone from the football governing body I think did a secret inspection on the ground and told the club if they want to progress up the leagues they will need to improve the ground as it wasn’t up to standards that’s when all the stuff came about that the football club and sale was going to buy the stadium

The first thing is to be open and honest and not keep blaming the supporters the RFL Sky etc If you don’t know the problem, how can you solve it?
We lack any form of leadership in the Club.

First thing to do is too admit that we have a problem but sadly those at the club won’t admit they is a problem they will find other ways to get around the problem

It is fascinating that all the emphasis is on the club, much the same as IMG really. A sport with an inferiority complex, "If we can't, it must be our fault!"
One question, in two parts, if the MEN covered RL the way it deserves do you think this would still be a problem?
Or do you follow the TotalRL rule that we only et what we deserve?

Does Salford get what it deserves maybe does Rugby league get what it deserves oh yes because we don’t put ourselves out there and we don’t make enough noise about the sport it’s all very hush hush and behind closed doors
I’ve just been reading about the referees from phill Bentham who says we do this and we go over this and we listen to this blah blah but if you look at other sports you get to see everything the referees go through on a day to day basis that’s showing the whole game and the world what goes on …. Rugby league nothing unless it’s like 10 years ago …. Those at the RFL like to keep things hush hush in my opinion which is why the coverage isn’t as big as it should be
