I think we need to accept that if Kendall refs a Saints v Salford match, there will only be one winner.

I think we need to accept that if Kendall refs a Saints v Salford match, there will only be one winner. I don't like it at all when he's our ref and that was just further evidence.
I thought the lads played well enough to win and were unlucky, that's as good as it gets when you lose.

Well I can’t fault the effort, it was brilliant our forwards ran out of gas. Lewis is a machine, Dudson is not fit. Not a fan of Shorrocks at 9 or the wingers coming in hard it cost us. Cross had a shocker, in defence and not scoring we need an out and out winger. Brierley did better at full back. All any fan can want is 100% effort, plus a Knowles Red that wasn’t given.

And maybe the RFL can explain the rule when someone is pushed/pulled into touch. A few weeks ago, we were penalised against Wigan for pushing a player into touch, and Wigan scored in the next set. Tonight Saints pulled our player into touch and weren’t penalised. They scored in the next set. A bit of consistency and fairness would be nice.

That was a tough one to take, our fans superb and effort magnificent. Half backs did their job today yet our attack was a little blunt. A glaring problem is two world class centres and I’m afraid two average wingers. Nene breaks and only Nikorima supports, Cross was poor, mistakes early on, over shooting the line and not stepping to score right near the end he watched Mbye. Hank has to play wing at magic. Just watched the last 30 mins back and Knowles was a Red. Can’t win them all but what a tremendous effort.

I think the audio from the referee's should be released I wanna hear what’s said when the saints try was disallowed for offside even tho the linesmen called them onside and they was like 6 or 7 offside from the kick
Also apparently Kendall apologised for the wrong call does anyone know what the call was ??

Why was cross poor shorrocks lost us that game if you all actually watch it back The ball should have gone to Sneyd for the drop goal. Cross was poor in defence and bombed a try near the end. We had enough momentum to win that the last ten mins. |

Thought it was a decent game. A couple of brain farts and some excellent defensive plays from Saints the difference. For me, Superleague should do what the NHL does for tied games. Both teams get a point and if we have to have GP then the winner gets an extra point. No team should be punished for keeping a match even for 80 minutes. Not sure why SL is so anti-draw...

Looking back, tremendous game and we’re getting a pack that can match anybody….Saints with virtually a full strength pack last night but we stood up to them and didn’t take a backward step, great display…but how Knowles ever lasts 80 each match is beyond me…will be banned again…and if you look at a Mbye try saving tackle, Hanky taken out by a shoulder charge by 16
For me the person to work on for the Club is Shorrocks, each week brain farts…and if he’s going to play hooker he’s got to improve his passing from the ptb
But as Rowley said in his interview…’we learn and get better each week’…and that’s what we’re seeing…he has made a top class team once again
Really looking forward to the Leigh match and the rest to the play offs and Lafai back
Rowls has made Partington an international level 13, we’re really going to miss him next season…but someone else will step up no doubt. Let’s hope it’s only him being poached for next season

Best team lost. We should have won that comfortably against a very poor Saints team. They only scored off our mistakes!!
Shorrocks didn't lose us the match. He messed up in a couple of plays. But I can show u dozens of errors throughout the match that cost us points/territory (hank jumping the line for Saints 2nd try for example)
Basically we lost the match rather than Saints winning.
It's also a bit embarrassing coming on here and seeing people whinge about refs when we lose.
The team is accountable for winning and losing and blaming refs just makes u look daft and shows a lack of knowledge about the game. The ref was fine, move on.
I'm proud of the effort, just disappointed we didn't put them to bed as we should have.
Anyone know who got MOM? Nene was ours, for me

We really struggle to make any ground going forward which lost is the game, defence was pretty good but we need to aim up going forward
