Trying to blame one player like a stuck record is a bit like the the labour candidates who lost ther seats blaming it on conspiracies and intimidation rather than democracy at work.

I think the issue and it’s been proven the last 2games is we don’t have a pack that makes yard and we rely on the 2centres without them the go forward is not there and we have nothing to play off.rowley likes smaller forwards which can work but when bullied like today it does show up that the plan is easy to contain as opposition

That’s it
That was confusing not one player had a good game our game needs to be able to adapt some players need to be in different positions and some shouldn’t be on the pitch at all
Have a good drink lads reset and go again next time

We were the better team in the second half but for some reason the attack was totally disjointed and we just couldn’t get over the line….timing completely out…overplaying
The effort was there, they put their bodies on the line, tried v hard but never happened…heads never dropped…
Definitely not a Salford of old C….missing both centres and stand off…but Brierley and Atkin dire in attack
And the ref…giving no infringements at the ptb and no Catalan offside…poor yet again..this guy not good
18-0 down at HT…did they fold…NO…did they try but fail…ABSOLUTELY

Short of ideas today - the heat obviously a huge factor but we are lacking in pace.
Brierley at #6 for me next week. Stone was our best player in France.
Just feel we overplay `Give it to Marc` and we should look at other plays from now on.

WTF does any of that mean  Our 2 best players out, sweltering heat, away from home against a team gradually finding its form again ...... I'd go as far as to say you don't understand the sport at any level Russ. They didn't perform, but didn't get humiliated as far as I saw it, and I've seen plenty of hammerings over the last 5 decades ! |

You must be easily pleased JJ… for me he talks incessantly but says absolutely nothing of interest or value. Brown Kear Davies..etc all streets ahead…but he was a prop😉 |

Agree Brierleys covering defence is poor…should be 6 and Hankinson 1 Agree JJR Brierley was out of position for the first try which was there to be stopped, in the line for the second and nowhere near the third which again was a kick. For me he moves to 6, Atkin needs dropping he is not a Super League 6. I'd have Hank at 1, Brierley or Connell at 6 next week. Young Connell has a step, can kick and pass and is fast why not try him, Cust needs to step up when fit if not. Tonight Cats stopped Sneyd and we have no plan B and cannot expect our star centre's to carry us in play off Rugby. Still at least 2nd half we improved. |
