Really don’t like all this “routine win” talk. It just never transpires for us. These games worry me more than playing the likes of wire. Big test for us, have to have the same mentality as last week

Big test for us, have to have the same mentality as last week I understand your concerns but Hull are crap this is a great time to play them. Our last two performances have been the best of the season, Hull cannot defend they depend on big forwards.

This is our acid test.
A game we would traditionally lose after beating a big team. I'll start believing if we put this lot to the sword.

Have you seen their squad it's pretty limited, they have their best forwards missing. We turn up with the Saints attitude and we do a job on them. Just hope the crowds good its blue light appreciation day, always great for the kids outside the ground.

Anyone know injury timescale on McDonald and lafai as there both out this week and it’s no use waiting for club to tell you cos they don’t!

There's something about HIA protocol where players can only play a certain amount of games and then manager has to manage them and sit them out of games, so I'd say Nene is just sitting this one out, as for Lafai think on another thread it's says 6week out

I think that is the case with Nene. Presumably Sneyd and Cross will have to sit out a game or two as well at some point.

Yeah can see that happening soon, Sneyd played every game, so I think once play off places are confirmed, we will see him rested

As explained previously, they are based on position – but they are also based on age: Forwards over 22 will be limited to 25 full game equivalents – 2,000 minutes of rugby. Backs over 22 will be limited to 30 full game equivalents in a 12-month period: 2,400 minutes. For forwards 22 or younger, the limit will be 20 full game equivalents, while backs of that age bracket get 25 full game equivalents. Players 18 or under have an even lower match limit: forwards have 15 full game equivalents and backs 20. www.loverugbyleague.com/post/explainer-how-the-rfls-new-rules-on-match-limits-capping-players-game-time-will-work-from-2024. problem seems more forward based, as Watkins has played every minute of every game so far I think. cant remember him every being subbed.

So basically McDonald is injured then because he could play 30 games and at minute he’s only played 16 including cup!
