I think the first thing is to ensure we keep the ones we need from the present squad; we don’t want the likes of Sneyd, Lafai, McDonald to leave…Partington, Bouroh already lost sadly
We do need to move Sidlow Dixon, probably Dudson and Hellewell on….just don’t play 3nough minutes
We’re bringing in younger players at all levels…A Team, Community Team and now Academy…that needs to continue
Obviously 3 props, and replacements for Partington, Bouroh
But who….we need to generate the money first or it’ll be bringing in bargain basement replacements again…so who can we afford?

Yes Bienek, if we can get him fitter, might be a good start…won’t cost much…slightly better than Sidlow
Looks like Cust hooker…but need to release King V for a better overseas prop and need to find some speed on the wings

King has to go for me Lewis beinek is the sort of fast explosive prop we need And for 9 bill layland at London( not played this year) he’s going to be a top player and rake his brother oli aswell

I thought Cust had signed for next year’s No he had a 1 year deal Lafai Nene Masters Stone Wright King Lewis That’s are 7 spots cust is out of contract so he’s the one going unless someone else leaves and we re sign him but that wouldn’t make sense. Best out come is for king to go and be replaced by a prop

Think the confusion came with this article www.totalrl.com/cade-cust-set-to-give-salford-red-devils-boost-by-committing-future-to-super-league/However nothing confirmed by the club. Personally hope they don't extend his contract /get rid of anyone for next year to accommodate, as he's done sweet FA and doesn't deserve it. I've not seen his make one break and all he's done is just shovel the ball. Sneyd does kicking so don't know what he brings to ne honest. He played hooker for a half last time he played and was awful for the 40 he was on.

When is King Vs contract up?

The King is contracted until 2026. He probably knows being the King if not Emperor of penalties and his ability to abdicate that title will depend on if he stays. He seems most under pressure imo.
Stone is here until 2025.
MacDonald and Marsters are tied in for next year plus.
It will depend on how he settles in, to determine how long Loghan Lewis stays.
Cust signed a year contract with the option to extend it a year. Being injured and not sparkling when fit may decide that one.
Lafai and Wright are curious ones. With Hardaker and Chamberlain joining Smiler Myler, I can’t see him joining them. Another year at Barton, retirement or NSW/QLD league for him will be his choice.
Same with Wright. Stay or return home. Up to him as I’m sure both lads would be welcomed to stay.

Bouroh as well at Dull, who are apparently now chasing the PNG hooker

Hull seem to be chasing everyone. Perhaps that is their plan, sign everyone so nobody else has any players.

Hull's recruitment panic smells eerily like our Koukash era. Pay over the odds for players to actually play for such an underperforming club. Panic some more when they realise that you can't make a brand new team and expect miracles (Unless you have Paul Rowley of course, and they blew that one)
Rinse and repeat.
Cartwright may be their shrewdest buy this season, unless Mr Myler starts dictating, in which case I can see him clearing back off to Oz.
