I thought 2nd half was ok. Stopped them scoring a try until the last couple of minutes, and that came after a harsh knock on call against Atkin.
Should beat London, then a week off to get some bodies back hopefully.

2nd half was a lot better should of started Mellor but I don’t think he has the engine to be as effective for the full 80. Foster did very well in his short spell fingers crossed we get to see a lot more of him as the season progresses. I love atkin but a starting halfback he isn’t I’d go for Morgan at 6 for London until cust is back from injury

What’s wrong with cust?!mcdonald looked like he was struggling surely hankinson could have played centre and king in the 17,we can’t afford to be 3 overseas players down if there not injured,thought the crowd was poor 4087?!yes the club can do more but if that’s the crowd for a game against Wigan we really can’t complain when we’re having to sell players!and yes people will come at me and say club and board should do more but it’s plain to see there is a distinct lack of appetite for a rugby club when a city of 250000 people can only get 4000 through the door!

I called what would happen, a pathetic team selection with a smaller forward and Hankinson on the bench against Wigans 3 x big props. Don’t need to be Sherlock to work out what happens, King was not selected and if Sidlow is not fit get rid. We were setup to lose with that 17 and that’s on Rowley no excuse.
We need to drop Atkin and Cust as a starting 6 because neither cut it, I’d put Mellor there v London and play Bourouh and Atkin at 9.
There is no way that attendance is 4,087

Yeah think mellor has been an excellent signing and can certainly work at 6 for us and revert back to borough and atkin going forward hopefully beat London then another break not been a bad season still in playoffs and the losses include Wigan twice who are by far the best team so overall we’re doing ok,

I think the team is busted…lots playing carrying injuries Good plan today to keep playing wide but no matter who plays 68% completion won’t cut it….stupid passes in the first 20 minutes, and the usual Wigan ball steals cost us dearly…don’t think there was a penalty against Wigan for offside or ball stealing but lots of 6 agaings against us for  |

Your right about the season on balance however our attack needs to improve hence Mellor at 6. |

Maurice - As `Dixon` alludes to ` Do you know King`s current fitness or are you aware that Sidlow has an active job in the club by coaching the Reserves? Don`t criticise team selection until you know all the facts.
Pleased to hear we are being bolstered by an Overseas prop very soon.
Re the match - Referee was hopeless. Wigans lay on all afternoon especially after Smith`s downfield kick - well this went unpunished all afternoon.
Today`s match was a free hit so I`m not over disappointed. Next Sunday is a Big One though.
Still in the Top 6 with the smallest squad. Give them some credit please.
Agree with the Attendance shown. Ludicrous. Hope there were no VAT personnel in the Stadium.

The referee was strange I’m not saying we would have won but the McDonald no try at the end of first half fair enough no try but Wigan clearly offside and not square at play the ball yet video ref doesn’t give grant this info it was bizarre!I think the offsides are the same I think the top teams do get refereed different because after we had score we had a spell near there line and they were offside every tackle!even the green card he clearly stood on sneyd ankle we didn’t ask the ref to stop play and were down to 12!

Not gonna comment too much as I'm away this weekend and an awful mobile signal/campsite WiFi meant I missed probably 50% of the game.
1st half just not at the races from what I caught but 2nd half we were much better and mainly managed to stifle Wigan offensively. I'm not commenting on team selections as there has to be fitness concerns if we're going in light in the pack. Rowley is too smart to think we can beat Wigan with a lightweight pack so can only trust we were just low on bodies again.
5th/6th spot is totally up for grabs this season. We know we've got the beating of Hudds and Leeds just can't seem to get it together. Leigh will probably be the main threat for those last couple of playoff spots so we just need to keep picking off the lesser lights and then pick up a few wins against the "big boys".
Let's not get too hung up on today. Wigan will be most people's pick for the GF again so losing to them ain't the end of the world.
If we can squeeze into that top 6 then it's a very acceptable season all considered. And we've all seen what can happen in one-off games with this bunch of players.
On to London.... strong professional performance please and a few tries to bolster the points difference before Wire & Saints would do just nicely.👍
