The rfl needs to bring back in goal judges it would stop so many tries going to video ref when they aren’t sure on the grounding

Tight game. Both sides giving it a go. Mistakes cost us in the first half but some stand-out performances from Ryan, MacDonald and Ormondroyd helped us through to the end. Brierley had a game to forget but got us the penalty try. Lots of effort all over as a team and much improved over London. In typical Salford fashion we made it more difficult than it should have been but the two points is a crucial two points against Wire.

So much more fluid in attack with Atkin at 6.

Agreed .... also thought the effort from Watkins and Lafai was immense. Dixon ran it in very hard when he came on too. A great win !

Great win, Brierley MoM no idea how? Jack Olmondroyd was outstanding as were the forwards as a whole. Sneyd was solid and what an kick across by MacDonald. Lafai was fantastic and Ryan did well in defence after we over committed out wide. Williams is a rat never left the Ref alone. Only disappoint was the crowd, we need 6k plus. Those who watch a **** Utd draw in a pub are missing out.

The MOM Award was sponsored by a CBD Company, Maybe they'd be eating a few of their products and it affected their judgment 🤔.

I know past few years when I coach got sacked a club ( I think leeds ) offered him a chance to keep up to date by spending some time at the club

That was good today. Thought Ormondroyd and Ryan were good and glad Atkin got a start in the halves.
Brierley had a nightmare 10-20 mins in the first half.
We needed that performance today after some pretty lacklustre displays recently.
