I think Grant was harsh on Cross, Burgess made a meal of it. All in all it was a great performance in defence and some solid attack. Hankinson again impressed and our forwards held their own. Half backs were class as was Atkin slotting into fullback with minimum fuss.
Not bad for a Rowley 'Cut and Shunt' team as so called by that prick Wilkin on Sky on Friday night. That tosser is the pundit gift that keeps giving.
The crowd was a disappointing, not the away fans the home support, we need more than 4k Salford fans in - the team deserves it.
Talking of the away support the police had to go into the away end due to KR fans fighting with each other.
Lewis is a grubby little **** he was at it all game and never got dealt with.

For me when nofa is fit he takes crosses spot, Hank has been solid. We definitely struggled to make metres but are d was impressive

Atkin was excellent but we should have switched in someone for the high ball(Hankinson?).His technique catching a high ball is pretty poor tbh

On Sky's coverage of yesterday's game, Barrie McDermott explained(?) that the penalty given against Salford at the PTB was because he touched the "corner" of the ball (whatever that might be) rather than the "belly" of the ball. Has anybody ever heard of this before?

If McDermott comes out with something new rather than his three phrases, I’m all ears
He probably got the right words but in the wrong order…he really is awful and going worse..

Has anybody ever heard of this before? I think I heard it used in a vaudeville act when I was growing up.

Has anybody ever heard of this before? Of course not there never was a rule about where the foot touched the ball!
