I'm keen to see how Nene goes for us. At times, when I've seen him for Leigh and Leeds, he looks as good as any three-quarter in the league. Great size. Good speed. Elusive for his size. Returns the ball well. If Rowley can keep him motivated we'll have two of the best centres in he league. I think Hankinson will be an upgrade on Costello too. He has a lot more experience and is a handy backup kicker. Ryan is also a great finisher and being outside Lafai could bet a bagful of tries (assuming he pays left). Though I do wonder if it'd be better having him on the right as that's traditionally our more potent side.
Nene was Leeds' best player when we played them at Headingley last season IMO. Fit & motivated I think he'll be a huge player for us.
It's good to see positive reviews about Hankinson. He'll be a very important player across the backline when we get the inevitable injuries. We still need another three-quarter though. Hopefully, when the stadium issues are sorted we can bring in additional depth.

I’ve mentioned before there’s a prop called Darryn Schonig who currently playing in France for a year formerly Melbourne who would be a good pick up and can’t be that expensive. Hopefully we get hill or esah on loan for a season and a back up winger

Schonig would be who I would sign he’s all muscle and runs hard and fast, plays big minutes and came through the storm ranks so you can guarantee a good work ethic plus he can’t be that expensive. Shorrocks plays 13 when I was there but I only popped in for 15-20 mins
The East Stand Open Day raised much needed ticket funds for the club which was positive. Thanks to everyone who attended the session, all being well the Season Launch on 27th Jan will be even more successful. More cash in means more signings.
