Just thought I'd put a post out there on the subject of abuse directed at Salford Red Devils Board Members over the past couple of weeks it is beyond toxic from a minority of fans (Facebook & Twitter). The social media posts directed at Paul King in particular have been unacceptable. This is a guy who has twice put his own house up as a personal guarantee against the club, reduced debt as our overall losses show, prevented us from liquidating through challenging times, Koukash went, Covid. Plus during his time taken us to two major finals. The Club Board and CBS now need our unconditional support and assistance to move forward. Two players have been sold due to central RL Commercial funding cuts, (Ackers wanted to go). This is to ease cashflow its business. Now is a time to be positive not negative if your an Owner or Fan.

Brilliant words, back us or go elsewhere 100% if King had not put up his own assets on the line for the club we'd be history, I have gratitude for that. Personal abuse of any kind of or inappropriate false accusations are disgusting.

Brilliant words, back us or go elsewhere Don’t think we’re in a position to tell” fans” to go anywhere 😂 unfortunately we need every paying fan we can get just a shame some go to far

I'd happily lose half a dozen or so I've seen on social media recently. And I'd gladly chip in to pay for whatever revenue the club loses from them not being a part of the club.
We're probably taking a few dozen people here but it's a few dozen we can do without. They're likely to be the same bunch of fans who'll boo the team off the pitch after a match and then 2 minutes later join in with the "Salford 'til I die" chant.🤦♂️
Social Media platforms really should be doing more to ban these clowns.

I am glad I don't know how use social media,I am as you have probably guessed of the generation where if you had a problem with someone you said what you had to say to there face.Mr king and those running the club are not above criticism, but do it the right way.But as you know we have morons like every other club.

It's a strange one. While we're all disappointed it's plain as the nose on your face that we decided a while back not to have another 'Hastings moment' where we get nothing for our prize assets. We either keep them or sell them for a decent fee. Win win. Until we get a benefactor with big pockets or more of these mythical Salford fans coming through the gate this is reality in the short term. The club is trying to score as highly as possible on the IMG criteria and maintaining our SL status is key.
Why some of the unhinged don't see this baffles me.

I am in agreement with the vast majority of the comments on this topic, most of the fans that I know and speak to are also of the same opinion, and that is Paul King,Andrew Rosler, Paul Trainor plus the other people involved in the running of the club in the period since Marwan Koukash left us,deserve our thanks and support for all the work that they must have put in on the clubs and supporters behalf. As a slight aside, many years ago in the 1950s the club used to give free tickets to Salford Schools who played Rugby League and at the age of twelve or thirteen I received my first complimentary ticket for the Willows to watch the Red Devils play, now some seventy years later I am still supporting them along with my family, so people should think before they comment on ways that the club can try and retain and then increase the support base in this case the increase in crowds since Marwan left suggests that the people in charge have not exactly been sitting on their hands over the past few years.

Totally agree. Easy for some to hide behind a screen.

I agree with these statements some of our fans are a disgrace and go beyond what is acceptable. I support our club and our board.

I think the main problem is that the club/ board don’t communicate with fans properly which is why some fans get carried away. But they does need to be something done about all the abusive either some sort of education or something because it was absolutely ridiculous

It just common decency isn't it.

They are ways of expressing your feelings but a few fans have gone over the top with how they was expressing but again in my opinion it’s down to how the club communicates with the fans and share holders
We all knew when that video was leaked that Brodie and Andy had been sold but could the club sent a email to shareholders saying we have had offers put in for certain players and we will do what’s best for the clubs
