Pele, who's challenge I thought was easily the worst of the weekend, has been successful in his appeal and has had his ban reduced to 3 games.

Given the way the rules are being enforced/interpreted it seems strange to me anyone has signed Jared Waerea-Hargreaves no doubt some will wish it was SRD but there's no accounting for Prop obsession syndrome.

First 2 pick-ups from the HKR-Leeds match...
1) They need to sort their drainage out as the pitch is gonna resemble Rabbit Hills by full-time!
2) Is JJB ever getting rid of the braces? He's had them on longer than Shelley Marsh in South Park.😁

Hull KR should play Evalds at FB. I bet he makes that tackle on Handley and would look far less shaky under the high ball

Ackers and Croft didn't look like they were enjoying playing the Leeds style of play.

Leeds don't seem to be getting the ball to Brody in much space and the amount of times he's taking the line on has dropped. They won't see the best of him until they allow him both.

Leeds don't seem to be getting the ball to Brody in much space and the amount of times he's talking he like on has dropped. They won't see the best of him until they allow him both. Watching that match, it's clear that the game plan and style are not what you'd expect from a side with Brody in it's ranks. I've no doubt that will change over time and Leeds will get the real benefit and become a much better side. Though if they don't redesign their plan he'll only be seen at intervals and very much less effective overall.

I see Brodie has nicked Sneydy's cross field kick that worked so well early last season between Sneyd/Budgie. Could be a decent weapon for Leeds with Handley on the wing.

Following the discussion about Brodie at Leeds, I am reminded of when Jackson went to Wigan. "How well will JH go at Wigan?" was the question and my response was "if they force him into the Wigan style, he won't flourish, but if they let him off the leash, he will be brilliant." In the end, it was 6 and two 3s. He showed flashes of his Salford form, but not consistently. It will be the same for Brodie. I hope for his sake, they let him have his head.

Is anyone watching London v Catalans? I've no idea how the Catalans 'try' went up as a try. Obviously, it was overturned, but what the hell was the touch judge doing to give that as a try? Johnson clearly lost the ball a metre forwars. Imagine if there was no video ref!!!

He's just sent another up as a try that wasn't. Clearly didn't get it down from he camera that was behind the try line, which is the view the ref had. That could have been two ridiculous tries against London without a video ref.
