Where’s this been disclosed ??
I think this has to be the last hurrah, whatever that means it sounds final enough for me, take care everyone!
Very odd take. I don’t get what we are supposed to do here. We are where we are, no different to any other club or even company. More money and prospects will turn someone’s head. I’m not convinced it’s the right move for rowley or that he’ll take it but we are stuck in the position we’re in not much the club can do right now. Just keep moving in the right direction. Keep the faith.

Wouldn’t be surprised if haggerty and Inu went with him Haggerty will go if Rowley goes. Our fans need to get a grip some are now fearing Brierley will leave and he is under a 3 year contract. If Rowley wants the money and the Hull job get the deal done ASAP.

I remember when he came he was given certain promises and said he was trying to create a dynasty They built a great squad between the Club and the coaching staff but 5 of his best players had to go
Presumably he’s lost faith in the Club and for an ambitious guy it must be hard to take esp if Hull is his destination😩. I was surprised he carried on this season
Not sure what the new structure of the Club is…has the Old Holding Co completely gone?

150k? Should be at least double that. Are we short of 150k somewhere in the budget because it should be minimum 250k Feels like Croft and ackers saga we need 300k here comes leeds with you guessed it 300k when it should have been minimum 500k

I don’t think Ryan will go but would not shock my if rowley wanted certain players

How many times can SRD regroup and fight these kind of events? How many fans will lose heart and give up the ghost at the thought of more departures? How many will have looked at this and given up already?
Keeping the Faith looks, sounds and smells like a complete act of stupidity in the face of everything that's taken place!

In the face of everything that’s taken place - you mean the most successful Salford side for decades? Grand final, challenge cup final, playoffs? Give your head a wobble. Of course I will be gutted if Rowls goes, and yes of course I wish we had more money, but enjoy the ride, ffs.

If people aren’t happy with those in power then I believe they can be removed from position by the new board if im correct

It's not the board, its the situation. We raised money through fan ownership model and sold Dupree to balance the books. then sold Croft and Ackers, to balance the books, now we've put a price tag on our head coach.
Every time there is the glimpse of stability and building for the future we end up selling our best assets. Some may blame the board, some may just accept it for what it is. And some have just had enough of watching a team that is supposed to be building and progressing, constantly be in a position where we have to sell to survive.

Thing is we have been told that we don’t have to sell our players anymore and that we have all these revenue streams coming into play or already available to us and plenty more when the stadium situation sorts out so we shouldn’t have to sell
Even Rowley comes out and says I want to move then okay let him go for a decent price don’t just shove 150k price tag when it should be more and we all know that it wasn’t a financial decision to let him leave
You can see Rowley leaving because we need the money and the owners will find out via email and then made public literally 1 minute later

In response to the last two posts, we're not touting Rowley out for sale to balance the books. Hull FC have approached Rowley and the club with the aim of recruiting him for the 2025 season and beyond and, as he is still contracted to SRD until the end of 2025, SRD is therefore requesting a fee to release him from that last year of his contract, if Rowley wants to go. As to how the fee of £150k came about, that is probably just speculation in the press and the actual amount agreed upon is between both clubs and possibly Rowley. If Rowley himself doesn't want to leave the club then he just rejects the Hull approach. If he thinks that there is a chance he can improve his wages, further his career, get silverware, etc. then he might accept the Hull offer and the two clubs will then agree a fee to let him go. This is standard practice for other clubs in RL and in other sports. We have to put a price tag on letting him go as he is still under contract to SRD... or would you just expect the club to let him go for nothing or try to force him to see out the rest of his contract? The latter option will certainly motivate him if he is keen on the move to Hull, obviously

We need stability. All these crass statements coming out about we’re building the team, we can generate money from the Stadium, we just need an average crowd of 5k…. Etc etc, just seem ridiculous. We’re Salford people , we need openness and reality, then we can deal with it…not these apparent fairy tales. We also need to stop deflecting blame for financial losses…be real, accept the situation and blame if necessary and sort it
The one positive is that we score ok with IMG at the moment and we’re apparently in SL next season
As has been stated, the Club, Supporters Trust Foundation and those around with skills (and there are a number) need to create the Plan and work together to achieve it….there appears too little openness and lack of information…this has to change if we’re to go forwar, survive and develop
