Everyone is gettng angry and upset about recent results and the dip in form but it happens. Indeed every club in the division this season, other than Catalans and Leigh have had bad patches which is why the battle for the top six is so close. Personally, I don't think we have been particularly convincing all season but we have found ways to win games. Be it great defence at home to Catalans and Sneyd's drop goal against Wakefield. Our attack hasn't really fired but that is also down to teams having got wiser to us and how we play, particulalry Croft. Last year we were little old Salford and took everyone by surprise. Now we don't have that surprise element. We have to find new ways of winning. A small squad and injuries have not helped and the absence of Watkins cannot be understated. Its noticeable the drop in discipline since he was ruled out. Yes we need reinforcements but the mass meltdown in our fanbase is ridiculous.

On the plus side. Losing 42 - 0 to the league leaders doesn't seem that bad with hindsight. At least it wasn't 42 - 6 to the bottom club.  |
