Interesting.

I watched the repeat of the evening on Salford TV and was impressed by all. PK is passionate, Andy Burnham was fantastic and added a real positive mainstream nail into the whole thing, and Paul Trainor, who i know from being teenagers, knows his stuff but is also very passionate about the club.

The TD bit is interesting. It seems that it's down to Rowley and Haggerty now whether they want him around the squad. Hopefully, they'll sell up as I think Dupree has tainted himself with the Salford faithful and a decent fee in this day and age is a rarity that can't be passed-up on on a player who doesn't want to be here.

It was interesting and confirmed what we know, the club is in good hands.

Jack's got lots of great ideas and explained to me some of the things they are currently navigating through. It's going to take time but the expansion of the team will help speed things up. We need to be patient, and as we know people aren't idle, they are working extremely hard. I like his vision for the club and what he wants to achieve - he has ideas regarding data, community footprint, and engagement that can last well into the future and put the club in a strong position. He has genuine long term plans, some ideas will take a decade of so to come to fruition. He's only been there since January, he's a great hire and will be a brilliant asset for the club.

I chatted through some ideas with him and once the Crowdfunder is over, we're going to work together on the some things to see what we come up with. I'd be up for helping the club beyond the website if there are opportunities to do so. He's a really positive guy and those at the club are upbeat and tight-knit. It was a good environment to experience. People there are passionate. This isn't just a job for them they believe in what they are doing and want to be successful.

We just need to keep doing our bit. Keep sending ideas in - these will help in the formation and initial direction of the sub-committee. There are ideas which are good but unworkable due to contractual obligations or things that are not controlled by the club. Let's get as many people involved as possible because this is the opportunity for us to grow. If we don't grow, we wilt. It's not a secret. We have an outstanding core following that need to back the club in this moment.

For my part, I'm really looking forward to working with Jack and the club on some ideas. I've not been able to afford to put in to the Crowdfunder yet and as a non-owner I don't think I'm eligible for the sub-committees but I can still play a part from outside, until I'm inside, so to speak. Everyone who has already bought a share, as was said the other night, you've made a commitment. You are an owner. The success of the club is in your hands, and the hands of many who have come together with you. You have a responsibility.
