Sorry to derail this slightly. Looking for a bit of help. I recently pledged on behalf of my Dad for one of his Birthday Presents. When it came time to add addresses etc it asked whether the pledge was a gift and I checked that box. I then put in his details Address, email etc. My understanding was that there should be a mail sent allowing the download of a certificate of ownership, or something along those lines, however neither of us received it?
is this correct? I have had an email from Crowdfunder confirming the pledge but no details beyond this.
Any help or advice would be appreciated.

I'm not sure the club have got round to sorting that side of things yet so I imagine it's something they'll update us on tomorrow at the shareholder meeting.

See 650 have bought 750 with 100 as gifts. Glad you bought one, as I was getting worried JJR had bought 100 for his mates as plot to take over the board, butthen who would he moan at?

Almost at 185k and another 10k donation in the pipeline - need some Burnham magic tonight on the Mic. I asked Granada if they can cover it but they can't be arsed with Rugby League until the football season is over.
The club are desperate for a 350 - 500 turnout tonight, lets hope our investors and fans show up.

I tink if we can get another three 10k investments, for a total of five and 50k, then we'll hit the 250k.

Almost at 190k now, last nights event provide beyond any reasonable doubt that community is at the heart of this club. 60k to smash our target as Paul King said, we are 700+ investors and advocates of the club, sellers with a vested interest. Lets keep pushing our cause.

Lets keep pushing our cause. There's been a nice boost this morning, which is great to see. Plus I saw several people queuing at the ST table last night to make donations, which I assume are direct and via via Crowdfunder.

Yes, last nights event was amazing, I still see we have our doubters on Social Media at other clubs but **** Them #TogetherStronger Exactly. I thought Paul Dennett hit the nail on the head last night regarding sport in a wider sense. We all know that sport in the UK lives beyond it's means and that a large amount of clubs are in debt. There was the information posted on RU clubs that showed everyone of them had debts, some as much as £30-40 million. That shouldn't happen. Its obvious that everyone club is spending beyond their means and the means of the sports by being propped up on director loans... what happens if they call them in? Or even if they write them of but walk away, no longer willing to sink money in for no return on investment. It's not just RU, it's prevalent in football and RL too. Ken Davy has apparently sunk £20 million into Huddersfield... that's a s**t load of money in RL and he has no trophy to speak of. Catalan, Hull (both), Leigh, Warrington, and Catalan are the same. I'd guess that only Wigan, Saints, and Leeds are truly commercially viable based on current spending. There has to be a better way.

By far the worst case is football which is why they're still pushing a Euro league whatsit. I think that sentence has summed up my level of interest in that sport nicely.
I suspect there's a level of servicing your debts and loans that those clubs you mention but I suspect that without financial support and the level of success they achieve the house would come tumbling down fairly rapidly.
