Not unexpected. Potentially great player but only played 28 games in 3+ seasons and presumably on a good wage. Sad all round really because a fit on field Sarginson often good value but doesn’t play often enough.

Really sad to see him go and wish him all the best. Brilliant player who will run through a brick wall for you and he gave us some great moments in a Salford shirt.
Hope whatever it is that's caused his exit isn't serious from a personal/family/health perspective.

Played some great games for us, especially in the 2020 cup run. Real pity he didn’t play at Wembley.
Agree with previous posters- really sad to see him go and wish him the very best for the future.

Sad to see him go.Will always be seen in a good manner from me after he reported what Watto was upto to Bleasey. He stayed and others didn't

Always been a fan of her mnabd his enthusiasm. I think he's a good personality to have around the group. Quality player at C and decent cover at FB. I'd have him in the line up over Cross. That said, I suspect he is one of the best paid players, he's had trouble with injuries and suspension, and we need players who are available especially with a small squad and little money. It's best for both parties moving forward. I just hope that whatever it is, he's okay.

I felt for him missing that challenge cup final due to catching covid but il always remember match winning tackle against Wigan on French.
