Surprised at that result. Part of me fancied Leigh after watching Saibts against Cas and Leeds. Cas torn them apart at times and they weren't clinical against Leeds. They've also been ill-disciplined. But, I chose Saints in the prediction League thinking the Saint's mentality, after what happened against Leeds, would have them rebound.
It could be a long season for Saints fans and long overdue too! Wello could turn out like Cunningham, we'll see. In some ways I want him to do pay as he's been a great servant for the game, but I'm fed up of Saints winning.
Catalan and Warrington seem like the teams to beat. Catalan more so I think given their performances with key injuries. Warrington had a lot of help from the ref against us and... I've seen a Hull fan say Warrington were help by the SAME red against Hull KR, and I doubt a HUll fan says that lightly.

Just seen the Team and I am surprised to see Atkin is at 13 Starting - Hull have a massive pack, looks like Rowley Ball again. We tried it at Leeds away last year and it did not work as we lacked forwards and our completion was poor. He must have a game plan, what we do know is that sometimes Hulls defence can be all over.

Wonderful so far except silly things like King offload and Sneyd on the second play from the scrum throwing the ball out. Cut plays like that out and the unnecessary pressure they create and we should be comfortable here.
I hope we tie Dupree down for longer. I know he signed for 2 years but we should be tying him down for 5 if we can.

That try for Lafai is some try. Must be a contender for try of the year already. Great move to make the break. Slick passing. Excellent support play.
King needs to cut out the stupid offloads though. That's two today.

Fair play to the lads there, fantastic performance at times and Hull just totally unable to live with the pace, movement, running lines. The fact we dropped off for the last 20 minutes and still the result was in no way influenced says a lot.
Yes Hull were dire but we can only focus on our performance. Let's take this onto Wakey now and see if we can add to their current woes.

Incredible performance. Ruthless stuff, and we were far from perfect. You can really see the difference between a group of players that want to play for each other and, well, whatever Hull players have. Hard to single anyone out for a great performance as they were all great to a degree. Nods to Ackers, Williams, Croft, Sneyd, and Wright who had blinders. The rest not far behind. King was the only one who's execution was a little off today, although his work rate and enthusiasm certainly made up for it.
Shout out to Our League who's presentation was excellent. Great commentary, replays, and coverage. Would happily pay for more streaming services from them.

One player made a heck of a difference today and that was Atkin - extra pivot and extra man out wide. Rowley believes that you don`t need 6 big props. 2/3 will do.
By the way - Is Mr Dixon inebriated already after his promise with his Black & Tans?
