Well he was yet another who seemed to have more potential than actual.
Although he improved over the season it may not have been by quite enough for the coaching staff.

Got better but was still lazy and unfit. Can't carry players like that

I agree that he got better as the season progressed but for a club of our size players have to contribute from the start of the season.

I was excited when we signed him. I feel indifferent now he has gone. Kind of sums up his time at the club.

I agree that he got better as the season progressed but for a club of our size players have to contribute from the start of the season. So good you said it twice!
Is there a replacement in the wind or have we spent up what money we had?
It also got me thinking about that Samoan team member who's about to retire at 23. Now it's entirely up to him but of course for us who live the advert "All my life all I wanted to be a Rugby League Player!" this seems like squandering the talents you have. Hope it works out well for him but given how quickly it can be too late to return (ask those who went to yawn and came back shadows of their former ability) I'd want to drink it to the last drop.
There was also some former RL coach now in kick and clap saying such and such a yawn player would make it in the NRL. Considering how difficult this is for a dyed in the wool Leaguie I haven't stopped laughing since I read it.
