Can’t say I’m convinced with this move as he’s no better than the lads we’ve let go. Imagine he’d be dirt cheap though so must be a money thing. Still hoping we can make a couple a decent signing.

As we saw last year, we need bodies on the pitch when the injuries happen. Doubt he will be first choice, but like Livett, a handy player to have available.

Think sidlow will be a better edition than Dixon. Hopefully we have enough cash left to buy a big prop or I can see us struggling down the middle.

He’s a grafter and the right kind of person to have around. Rowley knows him well and will get the best out of him. Would rather Dixon had stayed when he left us. He was in good form and we missed his work rate. Wouldn’t have been my first choice signing all these years on but will do a job for us. At the least he is a good squad player.

I could be wrong but one good thing is it's been a while since Watkins and Dixon were names on an SRD team sheet at the same time.

I will never forget the ko in the Final when Hartley laid him out.
Oh for replays…and of course the disallowed try that Chris Hesketh said he’d definitely scored
But then our last Final, the ptb penalty against Pauli which led to Leeds drop goal …and the non pass from Inu at the end …life’s so cruel if you watch Salford. Or are the refs against us🤣

Happy with this signing, hes a solid player and i was gutted when he left us. Sidlow and Dixon are not headline signings but they will give you everything on the pitch.
