video Reffing NZ v Fiji Oh dear! On the rip for the penalty that put NZ in front for the first time in the game, he must have been watching different replays then the rest of us. Absolutely awful decision.

In a moment of rare positivity from a pundit Wilkin said the WC shows what SL fans have to look forward to next season and he was spot on. I've no doubt we'll have reffing like that to look forward to as well. Total has a specific negative WC thread which is always useful and forward looking. Miserable Pleaders!
Brown has been seeing the positives in the England performances and I really enjoyed his comments.

After that match we can see why Wane picks Mcillorum to start

After that match we can see why Wane picks Mcillorum to start I think it's very much like the Rowley effect at SRD the coach has complete confidence in you so you you're comfortable on the paddock and with your role in the team.
I thought Sam Tomkins assessment of those in the squad who weren't playing was telling and interesting too.

Barring injury there should now be at least one Salford playing in the WC final. Lafai was very good again today as was Watkins yesterday. Think they’ll be opposite each other next week. Should be a cracking confrontation

What did Tomkins say Russ? He just made a big thing about the contribution the people not playing were also making to the squad.

The wheelchair WC is brilliant and the sport is fantastic but the biggest lesson for RL is the presentation of the matches.

I'm surprised by Samoas coach Matt Parish has stayed for the whole tournament, World Cup 5 weeks from start to finish, Salford coach 5 and a half weeks ??

Should be a cracking confrontation If they both play, we will be applauding a world cup winner onto the pitch at AJ Bell. Hope they don't knock seven bells out of each other!!

Interesting letters, posts and even articles all over, moaning on and on about one sided scores in the running game but when it comes to Wheelchair the only talk is about the skills of those who win by those scores.
