England annihilated India in the cricket T20 semi final. Should India be forced to enter a qualifying tournament now? Blow out scores happen. And I believe there is a qualifying tournament for the RL World Cup. Greece earned their place through qualifying, despite not being allowed to train or play in Greece. Should we really exclude them, or should we welcome them with open arms?

Have a look at the prelims for T20 and then a minnows tournament for T20 prior to the Super 12s
Not disagreeing with your view but I think England v Greece is pointless
Ireland beat England at T20, Greece will never get within 40 of England at at full on RL game

Yes but if they qualify: they are in. Looking at the games I've watched (like many, all live on TV, except Greece v England as I was in A&E with a broken hand) it seems as if we have two leagues. I would hate to set it up as I'd be enemy no 1, but cannot we look at this? This would allow (say) Brazil v Canada in a America Cup played alongside (not necessarily in the World Cup country) with a trophy and a winner entrance to play (say) the Maoris for another trophy (say the Jimmy Peters Cup)? Grow the game or it will die.

Brilliant r3ffing, none of this pickiness around the ruck like Childs and Kendall…kept the play moving
Amazing fitness…wonder if sny Premier footy players watching to learn about fitness, discipline and respect for a game…no lying down, no ganging up on the ref, no acting like children. Sport and RL the winner

I feel if that had been SRD v Saints the reffing would've been more of a focus.
I'm glad that, in the main, it's been more about the quality of the match though.

Difference between English and Oz refs is obviously experience in that Oz refs take time to consider situations whereas our refs seem to look for and react to every minor infringement.
Lots of little things let go last night which didn’t really affect the play and it allowed the match to flow. Childs Kendall et al seem to be always looking at the little things round the ruck
Interesting quote from JJ Buchanan…’Klein didn’t invite himself into the game’…the Not sin binning was a good call when you look back on it

Saints would love that as it would provide more dominance that they so obviously need.
More positives from the RLWC
Although, sadly, RL is still in that place where the endorsements of celebrities from outside matters far more than it should the reactions themselves are great!

Kendall doesn’t spend enough time looking at a video call and makes a town halls of it. Disgrace as he didn’t spend enough time looking at it. Should be dropped forever off the International Panel; he had all the time, angles, resources and didn’t use any of them properly.
Just not up to it and let NZ down. And we keep saying he’s our best ref😩
