Maybe but we need to make sure we replace them with better players and not leave ourselves to skinny. Really need around 30 players

I think Sita, Lannon both improved last year and could both b3 good squad players but hope we get 5hem sponsored next season
Escare so much ability but doesn’t seem a team player Greenwood never lasts more than 10 min, so hopefully he’ll stay fit
But..Sarge, great player when he’s on form but injuries and suspensions, so maybe if he’s on a big salary…move?

I can't see us being in a position to pay up player contracts to leave, so I guess it's a case of letting them look for a deal elsewhere and agree to release them if they find one.
Sarge is a tough one. International calibre player but not sure where he fits.
Playing Devil's advocate...
Utility: Does he play the Atkin role of the bench? I think he'd offer more.
Centre: I don't think he should replace Lafai or Cross but Lafai is about to turn 32 and will be 33 at the end of next year and Sarge could slide back in in 2024.
FB: He's also younger than Brierley and has shown he can be excellent from FB. I have real reservations about Brierley's positioning in defence (see all Saints grubber kicks). He also blew two potential breaks in the first half. Still, I think overall he's been very good and improved as the year went on. But does Sarge offer better long term upside?
Forwards: he is solid in defence, could he make a transition to a ball playing type of LF or SR? We've brought Atkin on for SR and LF this year to speed up the game.
What if Croft goes? Could he play Stnad-off?
Personally, I'd keep him in the utility role, over Atkin, with a view to him going to centre or FB depending what happens with Lafai and Brierley after 2023

Agree re Brierley defensively and against short kicks…out of position Just watched Edwards at Penrith, completely different level, but positional amazing. Brierley has improved a lot this year, but his next challenge is his positional play…not a natural fb so hopefully he’ll learn

Just watched that game too. Penrith are such a good team. Edwards is top draw. The amount of quality FBs over there is unreal

Morgan Escaré I believe he is contracted till the end of the 2023 season. We should keep him , He's worth the gamble on playing him, He gives three type of performances.
Brilliant attacking flair . Misses tackles Catching the ball from kicks Prone to Yellow & Red cards.
