2023 will be interesting.
For me, the big tell on whether we are really progressing is backing-up a great season with another one. Getting that consistency is massive in RL. We seem to have nailed the very difficult intangibles that all sports have this season. Attitude, culture, belief. If we can keep that as our standard then we're going to start winning things. This season, especially the second half has felt different. It feels like we've really gone up a gear. Long may it last...

Think next season will be good Carnster adding to an already great squad and a few returnees. But it’ll depend on injuries somewhat.
My fear is the season after, lots of contracts up; if the Club doesn’t raise money then we’ll have the usual exodus and how many times can Bleasy keep finding gems? And if we get the small ground with no facilities as opposed to our stadium who would want to come and Rowleys far too good to stay.
So let’s look forward to next year and let’s hope the Club gets beyond its survival vision.

Just the way the Club is Lhred and has been for the past few years. Watto Rowley Blease and their backroom staff have worked wonders, then the club sells or can’t afford new contracts.
More of our 2019 final squad played for Huddersfield than for us in the quarter final.
We’re a development club for other teams just surviving unless we get funds in; and nobody’s getting funds in.
I applaud the Club for surviving but we should have ambition to achieve more and deliver that ambition. We’ve had the basis of 3 or 4 good teams and they all disappear.

They are trying to get funds in rugby league is not profitable so unless your a mad Salford fan with millions it’s not worth it the board have spoke to lots of businesses Manchester and nationwide no one wants to know so they are doing there best but not good enough for some people!

Look, we're going to be the underdogs no matter what we want. Suits me. A lefty in the 80's. Ran RL teams in a soccer-focused school. Still wearing a tie to work. Love progressive rock and folk.
As I keep reminding people, just because MacDees sell more than the best restaurants does NOT mean they are better.
We are quality: the fans, the staff, the player and the coaches. Lots pf people would be happy to wipe us off. But we stay. I've shown the Huddersfield videos of our singing to "football" mad friends and all were amazed. I am mocked at work for bringing Salford RLFC up at every chance: but they watch the scores and comment on them. I've got persons in Rochdale watching out for us. Why keep trying? Because we are quality.
Let's not argue with each other. Rightfully we have something wonderful. Use it.

I really do admire the professionalism of Rowley in accepting that Kendall made a massive mistake for the Penalty Try. If it was any of th3 bigger clubs it’d have been headlines for weeks; but no Rowley accepts it professionally, states it’s gone and congratulates Saints.
Just hope the powers that be are put Kendall into League 1 play offs, at the lower level.

Knowles 2 matches, going to appeal. Welsby got away with high tackle on Atkin, and Scarsbrook not charged with putting fingers in Atkins eyes ( which I didn’t see but been reported)
