Think the problem with Union is that the more money that’s pumped in just goes on increasing players salaries.

God knows where the money goes in Union, that is serious Total debt in the column on the right.

Looking at these stats (If correct as per the article) Sale must have deep pockets or potential backers lined up to buy the stadium should their bid be accepted rather than Gerrards. It shows a Total Debt of 30.9m

This is interesting in terms of average crowds between both codes.

Is our average about 4100 and Sale about 6000?
Mind you we had over 7000 for the Saints game and over 5000 for the Warrington game, so might have gone up

I think this year Salford's average attendance will be up. Plenty to build on next year, beyond 2023 lets see where we end up.

I wonder if anybody has realised if our ave attendance is between 4,500 and 5000 this year then moving to a ground with a capacity of 5000 will cause the average attendance to fall.

I was reading yesterday that Worcester warriors RU have had to cancel a Pre season friendly in Glasgow. Apparently there so short of cash they wouldn't be able to pay the Players & staff, There is also a doubt that they might not be Able to play in the Premiership for the new season, There Head Coach is Mr Personality formerly long time Sale Sharks player & Coach Steve Diamond.

Apparently the players have refused to play if the existing owners stay in place. These guys also own Morecambe FC, which is in trouble.
Think Sale was sold to a new Consortium in the past few months…..players wages too high….like the monumental fiddle at Saracen’s….all good news
