It seems we have 24 + Partington for next year, taking into account those leaving…unless we have to sell top players again to balance the books and Luckely re-signs
So we have a spare overseas slot and Bleasy identified potentially a good signing this week. So if we’re not to have an even smaller squad we’ll be getting another 5
Presumably a big overseas forward, pack leader?
Do my ‘sums’ add up?

Ellis Robson off to Keighley by all accounts. He was decent on loan for us and think he would've been a good pick-up.
Still being strongly linked with Sidlow but I'd rather have Seb back from Hudds (although that would cost us a few Bob more).

Think Robson a bit small in the Johnson mould. Sadly our Salford born recruits Wells n Robson not up to it

Would take Alvaro from Toulouse all day long, really improved their pack soon as he joined. Seb coming back in for a 3rd stint would be just the ticket too though.

Is Connor Aspey back next year? I think they'll need to make a decision on Aspey fairly soon. Looked a great prospect in those couple of friendly games he played when he was only 16 but it's gone a bit quiet and not seen much in the way of feedback from his loan spells at Newcastle & Rochdale. With Bourouh on the books and Ackers/Atkin unlikely to be going anywhere I think there's probably a decision to be made on whether we keep Aspey or Bourouh as can't see both staying next season. |

Would like Aspey to kick on. I hear he hasn’t been getting in the Rochdale team but haven’t checked to see how true that is.
Borough looks ok. Quick. Pretty solid on defence. Distribution needs to improve and he seems to want to start a fight in every game he plays

Aspey didn't play for Rochdale last week and they only had 14 players. So presumably he is injured.

King saying negotiations going on to try n retain Croft long term; if anybody can do it Bleasy can….try and work your magic mate…not sure how you find and persuade the Hastings, Sneyds and Crofts of this world but you do it year after year and it keeps the Club afloat.
