Well done the lads, great result, Castleford full of old big players couldn’t keep up with our momentum, put out the best team available and stuff Warrington keep the ball rolling.

Hard to know what to say. Cas weren’t up to much and had no half backs for the last 50 minutes. But there’s plenty of years we would have lost that game despite that. But this team wins by 40 points away at a play off contender in a crucial game. Just mind blowing
We fell away a bit in the second quarter but once we simplified our game a bit and tightened up the defence we were unstoppable
Interesting that bath Cats and Cas tried to exploit our tight defence with balls over the top to their wingers but we ended up thrashing them both. Long may that continue

Just heard and read about Radford….all doom and gloom about injuries. He’s got a squad of 37 and got a lifeline to get into the top 6; all he can say is somebody will have to pick him off the floor to get the team sorted for next week…with that usual miserable look
Rowley when we were down to the bare bones said…no matter what we’ll get 17 on the pitch and compete
Life really is about Attitude

Excellent result yesterday thought Wright's effort in defence were outstanding. This is a game we won with ease in the end but had moments when we were under pressure, best we keep Sarge off the wing its not his position although his hamstring again is causing issue - best he gets time to fully recover with Burgess and Williams available. Again half backs excellent and Ackers is an absolute machine. Well done lads.

Ackers has been outstanding in the second half of the season. Watched the game again and his distribution was excellent.
It’s just fantastic to to a Reds fan at the moment. Enjoy the ride.

Totally agree SH And the other attacking option under the radar, who Rowley has developed, Chris Atkin
In fact when you look at the squad Rowley and his team has developed you can’t find anybody who hasn’t improved. Akuaola and Brierley looked weak early doors but they improve every game. Even the fringe players when they come in Costello, Burke, Williams do perform
My only quibble, and I always have one is, that we don’t steady the game for a period when we get in front….yesterday at 20-0 and last week with 15 to go I was wanting a Dobson type control, 5 pushes and then ball in the corner but as Sneyd said they have so much confidence they don’t need it. But he showed they can do it when necessary against Huddersfield for 20 minutes.

What a fantastic time to be a Salford fan. Well done, lads. I've already begun planning flights and accommodation, so I've probably jinxed our GF prospects. I hope not!

Firstly, brilliant performance (with room for improvement I may add!👍) so massive hats off to the whole squad, Rowley, Bleasey, Kingy etc. It really has been a team effort to get us where we are, with a sprinkling of individual magic from players across the squad. Taking away some of the heart attack moments (the 2nd 20 mins yesterday) we're an absolute joy to watch.
I think confidence is so high at the minute the lads genuinely believe they can turn anyone over the way they are playing. My only worry is if we do have an off-day things might go spectacularly wrong but I'm not even contemplating that at the minute. Let's keep riding that wave and see how far it can take us!
Just looking at play-off fixtures and if placings stay as they are then we play Catalans away by my reckoning. I expect wins for Hudds, Salford & Leeds in the last round of matches so that would mean Saturday lunchtime ko at the SGB on 10th September.
Currently looking at flight options for a Thu-Sun jaunt and Beziers going out looks good but direct options coming back not great so gonna be taking a random route me thinks (maybe via Edinburgh again!😁).

Link to full minutes. We get plenty of mentions but all NFA except Jack O who gets a 0 match ban for what sounds like a crusher tackle www.rugby-league.com/uploads/docs/MRP%20Minutes%2030%20August%202022.pdfCan’t remember the Watts incident unless it was what we got the penalty for at start of 2nd half. In which case it’s a very soft offence for 2 matches. Time give as 1.07 so I guess that means min 27 of second half ??

Hi LR I read that Ch 4 had a game on Sat 10 and Sat 17 ko 12,30 each day but that Sky had the pick of the games on those days. So it might appear that both play off matches are on Sat 10th But, as usual, confusing…at least to me.

Pretty sure that Watts did his usual late attack on the back of a player when he could have easily pulled out. It was on Croft or Sneyd I think. At the time I thought it was a ban, but with no card. I mentioned it on the main match thread.
