Thought we were going to blow it tonight. 2 really good chances blown by Brodie Croft in opening 10 minutes. Not like him. But he made up for it with that incredible double pump and then perfectly timed pass to Brierly got the last try. Hull only on our half twice on first half and scored twice
Thought we were superb in 2nd half though. Brilliant defence, took our chances and managed the game well. Made it a bit squeaky for a few minutes but thought we were the better team for the whole match and should have won more comfortable
Well done to the fellas for an important win

Tough game last night off the back of Catalan, thought Hull came to play and were much better than in recent weeks. Have to say the half backs were not as dominant as usual but Brierley stepped up in attack, thought he was MoM with Ackers again outstanding with Watkins. Still the boys got the job done, hopefully we have King who is fit, Sita and Burgess in the mix for Monday.

Good win last night. Hull's big fellas were difficult to handle. I think Gerrard put a shift in worth mentioning. Some chances missed and some silly mistakes but still win. I'll take that every time. Monday a real big game now. Hope the lads can do themselves proud and secure a play off place.

Just a thought from someone who can't easily get to games so hasn't seen last night's. A few people are suggesting that our half backs were a bit 'off'. Could it just be that Hull know Marc Sneyd's game inside out and, so, were able to deny him time and space? As I said, it's just a thought.

Could it just be that Hull know Marc Sneyd's game inside out and, so, were able to deny him time and space? As I said, it's just a thought. I actually thought Sneyd had a pretty good game. Kicking game was good. Kicked a brilliant 40/20. Some good conversions. And his passing was generally crisp. He also managed the game well in the second half to help us keep hull pinned in their own half for most of it. But then he had a really bad 5 minutes with a knock on and a pass into touch that invited them back into the game and they scored off the second mistake. He was much better than he was in the away game Croft still got 2 assists I think but should have had at least 4 after he twice took Connor on rather than passing to someone for an easy try Thought Atkin and Williams were excellent. And I agree about Gerrard. Think he made 42 tackles and ran over 100m. Plus his usual good link up play. He is quietly becoming one of our most important players. Incredible given he only stepped up to SL this year. I suspect he might be one reason ET is being allowed to leave (disappointing as that is). Watkins was almost unplayable at times and the props all did great work. Glad to see Dupree get mom. His post match chat in the 1873 suite was very entertaining 😂

We did seem to find it harder to score than usual when we were in their 20. Had a number of attacking sets where we came away with nothing. I think we were maybe not quite as crisp as we have been recently but I think it was mostly down to Hull defending their line well. We seemed to be able to break the line from deep but found it hard to finish chances. We should have been 18-0 up within first 10/15 minutes but for Croft’s odd decisions. I suspect it would have ended up a big score if we had been

Did any see what led to the comotion with the ref at half time, I think Aktin was involved with an off the ball incident just prior but not sure

Think that was the contact on Brierley in the 2nd half, not penalised at the time.
