Well not looking promising for me catching my flight from Edinburgh this evening. Already had one train from Salford cancelled this morning and despite managing to rebook I'm now f*cking sat in a pub outside Preston train station as apparently there "is an incident" between Preston & Lancaster that means they've cancelled all trains heading north.🤬
If I can't get on the 3.53pm the. I'm well and truly f*cked. Wonder if Northern Rail/Avanti will refund my hotels & trains over in France.🙄

Trains weren't running from Lancaster either during the delay so no point. Left Preston almost 3 hours late, made it to airport 40 mins before flight (literally straight through security) and flight delayed by 90 mins.😂 On the plus side I'm now buying overpriced 🍺🍺🍺 (bloody minimum alcohol pricing north of the border!😭)

After tonight’s results we’ve got a big chance to get into the top 6 tomorrow. Every season bar 2019 that would pretty much guarantee we blow it! Let’s see what the 2022 team is made of…

Does anyone know if there will be any commentary tomorrow as it isn’t down to be on Radio Manchester. Just Googled it and can't find radio commentary anywhere. I'm sure everyone will be glued to Twitter for updates but I'll do my best to update the score on here as the action unfolds! That's assuming I don't fall asleep mid-match after 3 1/2 hours sleep😴😂. French trains are bloody great compared to our shower of sheeite though, I'll give them that, and the lovely ticket inspector lady has already brightened my morning!😍 |

(Ps mate, fantastic, enjoy the game, v envious of your energy and enthusiasm) Uber from Lancaster Road to Salford Crescent Train from SC to Preston (1 cancellation) Train from Preston to Edinburgh (1 cancellation and almost 3 hours delay) Uber from Edinburgh to airport Flight to Bordeaux (with additional (2hr 45ish delay😂) 3 or so hours kip.... 40 mins bus to train station Train from Bordeaux to Toulouse (2h 10m) Return train to Bordeaux tomorrow evening and flight back to Mcr thank god! I mean quite literally, planes, trains & automobiles! Guess who's single with no kids?🤔😂 Overcast and "only" 23° at the minute with high forecast of 29°. Should be manageable for the lads. Time to find some scran and a few 🍺🍺🍺 and hopefully find a few fellow reds before hotel check-in and an afternoon power nap.😁🛌 |

Interestingly, or probably not, the Game Day picture on the Club site is of Greg Burke, so looks like he will start…after all he’s played at Old Trafford and Wembley in the past few years, so Toulouse easy
