No ours is just over 4000, so keep going. Those clubs you mentioned have certain advantages but we need to make this into a RL City. As I said not sure what our Marketing Plan is. These things never just happen, you have to plan and develop.

I know we’ve never been a well followed club, but it was definitely better at the Willows. It’s been done to death and we are where we are, but that is the problem. I don’t see how that will be solved, without a regular winning team.

Why does every thread descend into this repetitive tedium?

Again jjr it's over 4000 but that's not paying so I will keep going!if you have 4000 paying we stand a chance we havnt the club this season has had 3 games for the kids one for armed forces players in schools foundation doing school tournaments what marketing should they do?!as you have an agenda against the board what did the previous regimes do so well because I have watched forty years and we have never had over 5000 average!

I'm pretty sure we won Yet once again focus on negatives. Just save for off season when there's nothing happening and focus on the rugby we are playing. It's getting boring now and turning people off contributing to the board. 3 wins out of 4 matches and next up a team we should beat

Okay but there average attendance is 5000 while ours is around 3000 paying castleford and Hull kr average over 8000 so why is it there public support there clubs so we'll?! How many reasons do you want?😁 1) Salford isn't a RL hotbed (and heasnt been in my 44 years on this Earth). Hull and Leeds (& surrounding areas) are. 2) Do half the high schools in Salford even play RL anymore? I'm sure I read a while back some had stopped due to it being too dangerous? (the old H&S excuses being rolled out). If true, that'll also have a fair impact. 3) Manchester United & Manchester City. Don't think I need to elaborate on that one! My first love was always football and only a free ST via the Junior Devils got me hooked on RL. It's a great sport that will never get the recognition it deserves and there are a combination of factors for that. It's criminal when you see Sale getting double our crowds with the dross they serve up most weeks (yes I've seen a few games on TV) but then they don't have another team to compete with for probably 60/70 miles so they'll draw in fans from across the county when we've got the likes of Leigh/Warrington/Swinton within 8/10 miles to compete with.

Not sure what the Marketing Team are about but we’ve got to start with the Junior Reds and RL in every school in Salford; they’ll drag parents and friends along.
East Stand for Juniors/ Familis/ Schools on a permenant basis. sponsored each week
I think the Supporters Trust tried v hard to resurrect the Junior Reds before Covid, but were given little support

We're given little support by who? Surely not another dig at the board! There is a meeting at the ground this week for parents and children to see what to do with the junior devils the board are running this! As for marketing in schools again many schools are not interested in rl lot been approached lot dnt want to know so apart from forcing the schools what do we do!

According to BBC Weather it's "only" due to be 31° in Toulouse on Saturday and not high 30's as it has been recently. Don't get me wrong, that's still pretty grim but hopefully by kick off that might've dropped back into the high 20's. Hopefully Rowley gives the lads a couple of days off to recover and it looks like we didn't pick up any further injuries yesterday. Anyone know when the lads are due to fly out to France? (I assume they're flying to Bordeaux / Beziers / Carcassonne due to there being no direct flight to Toulouse unless they're flying from Stansted🤔) PS. There was no way there was only 2600 there yesterday (unless we gave out 1500 free tickets which they're not counting!). Since The Covid outbreak all Superleague teams Charter a Aircraft and Fly out and Return same Day Costs around the same as two nights in a Hotel and all the other expenses.

Not taxing the brain?! There's always these reasons with salford! How can wakefield a week after losing to us play Wigan on a sunny Sunday and get 7500?!because the public support them, the public of salford dnt support the rugby well 2500-3000 do not enough to sustain super league I'm afraid! Here we are all those years later, and the question once again is: Do Wakefield have 2 premier league football teams very close by, along with 3-4 Pro sports teams very close also ?? Wake up fella, it's always been the same way, apart from the mega money days of the late 60's early 70's
