Very very sad re Burke situation, great servant for th3 Club in both good, 2 big finals and bad, captain when the team were in real trouble last year.
A player that does the real graft, plays long minutes and never complains; dependable, strong in both attack and defence and never let the team down.
Not sure what went wrong, but he’s far better than Akuoala, who’s had the odd good 15 minutes but Burke turned it in week after week.
Good luck mate, thanks for all your effort in taking the team forward and I’m sure it’ll work out for you in Barrow, a club moving forward and thriving at the moment. You’ll definitely improve the team.

That was a pretty poor display aside from Brodie Croft who was outstanding. Williams needs dropping next match, errors and constantly running in off his wing gave easy walk in tries to Hudds. Lets hope the injuries are not too bad as Dupree looked in a bad way.

Well seeing as we had a busted team and got more injuries it wasn’t too bad. Watkins Livett Taylor Dupree all injured apparently.
We need to play the first twenty better each week, but apparently the team had an horrendous coach journey.
But how did the bounce of the ball go with Huddersfield; amazing. Brierley and Williams , not their best days. But we never give up.

Yeah unfortunately we gifted Hudds pretty much all their tries and I wish the wingers would trust their centres to make 1 on 1 tackles FFS I stead on flying in and leaving walk-ins. Just deflating that we really were our own worst enemies.😟
To make it worse Warrington Boys Brigade have arrived with that f*cking drum!🤬

Really didn't understand some of Williams reads today, but he isn't a scapegoat so I'll say that we were our own worst enemy today. Particularly in the first half where our defending was amateurish at best, compounded by unforced errors. Croft, thankfully, kept us in it for most of the game and was outstanding. To little to late in the end.
A sloppy team performance sprinkled with excellent individual efforts.
Please can we get Rowley on a defensive training course? The man can coach entertaining attack, but we're doomed to inconsistency when we come up against teams that can nullify us or when the ball doesn't stick.

I agree that they need to tighten up for the first 20, C but they had 3 v fortunate tries in the 1st half; King, McQueen and Mcgilvray

Thought the first half was really poor compared to recent weeks, second half much improved tho Huddersfield slowing the ruck down was doing my head in. Watson obviously recognised the speed we attack with but for me the ref should have handled that better. Never rated Williams but today was awful what was wrong with Burgess anyone know?
On to Catalans who look a shadow of the team earlier in the season, let's hope we get some good news re injuries this week...

We didn’t play to our best, too many silly errors which were all punished some really soft tries, and against a very good team there wasn’t much in it. We did well in patches, as has been mentioned hudds spoiling tactics were frustrating especially just after we got to 24-18, but that’s what good teams do
Overall good effort too many mistakes but can’t win them all. Brilliant weekend non the less, hopefully injuries aren’t too bad!!

Why do we like giving big leads and then trying to come back into a game, injuries are getting silly now for us, hopefully see some reserves getting game time
