Looking forward to this, not sure how many are making the trip over, where is everyone sitting?
Looks like it’s going to be a hot day on a wide pitch, may suit our more lightweight pack and fast backs, but Huddersfield will be looking to bounce back after last weekend.
If we can play like we did first 15 and last 15 on Sunday for the full 80, we’ve got a good chance against anyone!

Can’t go in person. We are hosting the womens semi final at salford city roosters so will be helping out with that and watching in on telly at the club house

I'm there for the weekend Gadger... Red-eye train from Victoria on Saturday morning at about 7.30 and coming back Monday afternoon! Our allocation is in Gallowgate End which is the one above the metro station. Hotel prices are crazy but managed to grab 2 nights in a Premier Inn in South Shields for £40 p/p per night in a twin room.
God help my liver on Monday morning!😩

As we've scored 20 trys in just 2 matches, and momentum is so important, I think that we'll be too good for Watson's mob on Sunday.
It won't be easy, but it's very definitely do-able.
I'll be there for all 7 matches and can't wait for first-up on Sunday.

We tend to be a side that plays on the dicey side which I do prefer by a long way.
I think there'll be a lot of pressure put on us to make mistakes, which would be unsurprising from a Watto coached side.

Assuming ET and Budgie are both available and selected, who are the two unlucky ones to be dropped? Probably Williams and Atkin which is a shame for both.

Don’t think Atkin will drop out - Ackers came off injured on Sunday plus Atkin played well. Costello will likely drop out for Taylor.

I'm not sure what Costello offers off the bench (or starting TBH). If we get any injuries in the backs we can move Kallum/Harvey/Atkin into the backline. PS. For anyone who hasn't got their ticket for Magic yet, make sure you get it through the club if you can. I believe all our allocation is in the Gallowgate end and obviously the club gets it's cut from the sales plus you get the season ticket discount. I'm sure you all know that though so I'm preaching to the converted.😁 |

Costello is a very good sound player who needs more game time. The problem I've got with Costello, and I'm in no way a RL expert (as most on here will testify😂), is that he doesn't seem to have one particular attribute that stands out in his game. He's not a powerful centre, he doesn't have much in the way of pace and he's not got amazing hands or a step that'll create himself space in tight situations. He's steady and he'll graft but I don't see him offering much else. He's got utility value as he'll do a job across the backline but for a bench spot I think Atkin offers more and can be a genuine game-breaker. I'd be more than happy to be proved wrong on this btw!😁 |

Just hoping as the team is named today we have 3 forwards and Atkin on the bench, playing with 7 forwards is a challenge in itself. No idea why Burke is named in the squad then not available? Hopefully Wright is not far off as he bolsters the pack.
