If any of their fans read this forum with any luck we'll have a few our side's weaker than yours to look forward to.
Shame about the captain though.

Given their tryline defence and home advantage you'd have to favour the Wolves on this one.
SRD's display usually means an after the Lord Mayor's Show performance the week after sadly.
I hope that's not the case this time.

Well I thought I was going to miss this one as I had a clash with Lancs T20 (I missed Wakey due to a golf trip!☹️) but the Lancs game has now been moved back to a 6.30pm start so I can get to both!😎
Wire look really poor at the minute and I know we're hit and miss but we really shouldn't be going there with any fear or trepidation (famous last words!). We've got more than enough to cause them plenty of problems if we're "on it".
Edit: Just spotted on the Wire forum that quite a few are tipping us to win (and by a large margin in a couple of cases, although I'm not sure they're Wire fans TBF😂)

I think the Wolves fans are being a bit suspect there. Their war of attrition game will hold them in better stead than our training session match. And you're spot on we don't need to be afraid of anyone on our day.
I think next season really will be the Wolves time in the Sun at last.
Our season has been wrecked by injuries theirs has been scuppered by all the changes, rumour and movement.

I'm not sure ours has been "wrecked" by injuries. With the exception of King I think we have managed to pretty much put out our strongest 17 most weeks. We've hardly changed the backline all season and certain Injuries have benefited us, ie the moveming of watkins to 2nd row has been a revalation so far. We've had a few injuries to squad players, but none that would have changed the outcome of any matches. I think King has been the only big loss to us so far. I keep hearing were down to the barebones, yet we still are putting out a hell of a strong team for us. I'd also like to see some of the academy lads given a shot on the bench, if we are really that up against it. Hopefully if we are in a strong position come August we can start potentially blooding some of these academy lads and giving them a taste of the first team.

Think the problem Kilop is that a lot of guys will only be 80% fit and no chance to rest. Saw Watkins on the way out from the last match, had an obvious leg injury.

Couple of factors to consider, firstly the weather. If it's a decent day and we can play our hot potato brand we can score some points. Secondly who's fit and available as EJ is going to be missed

Yes but when you’ve got to keep putting the same 80% team out , no rest, it tells

In terms of a successful season this is wrecked. There is something in what you say but Sarge has hardly been available, Watkins took ages to come back and at a time we were/are involved in the relegation zone we've lost a series of first team members. One of the noticable things about the squad was the strength in depth which is unheard of for us for quite a few seasons. Lack of success and being near relegation has to be classed as pretty wrecked by defintion though.

After last years disaster this year to me is about survival. Bleasy again did his magic, with the odd exception, our half backs pretty special. Rowls said he needs bigger props next year so let’s see what that brings on out v limited budget; let’s just look for some good matches this year and watch as Wakey and Toulouse battle it out. There’s still a chance of top 6 so let’s just wait and see…be good to see one or two young fringe players tho

As SRD fans we tend to be good at coping with adversity though almost never out of choice.
Top six would be some achievement considering the circumstances and would colour it very differently.
The Board, Bleasy & Rowls are doing good and running strong!

And Amour out. Presumably it’s a straight swap Burke for Taylor…no options
