Well I will expand by saying we are reaching desperate stakes regarding money even to the point of paying wages and croft is interesting hull, he wnt be marquee because he's not marquee here I am hearing that if the right fee came then club would have to seriously look at it for the future of the club! Of course they would. It can't be a surprise to you that Salford are a selling club. We have been for decades and thankfully we have bleasey and coach who seem to be able to spot a player so if he goes I trust them to replace effectively. For me though if we struggling to that extent why have we set up the Women's team and launched other initiatives. When cash is tight you surely stuck to the basics that are needed to function in the main part of the business. Is the Comercial Director still there who said we had brought more sponsorship, locked in for two years, than the club has ever had before? |

As somebody posted on the other thread, I think we all need to calm down a bit and wait until something comes out of the club rather than jump on all the doom mongering. At the moment the only thing I know for sure is we are playing an entertaining style of rugby and I am enjoying the season. In RL were all very quick to jump on any negatives or rumours we hear. Just enjoy the moment and look forward to the next match. If you are really caught up in the other stuff, then put your hand up and step forward to help. Very easy to take a pop at someone who steps up and does something about it, while u sit behind the mound with the masses. Hats off to the guys running it at the moment, there doing a great job and I couldn't be prouder of my club at the moment. Keep the faith  |

On a positive note K think we should all support Maurice the Red. He seems to be putting in a lot of work and I hope he’s not ploughing a lone furrow.
