I didn't see that coming after 3 mins and when Wakefield denied a second try for a double movement I thought we were in for a long afternoon. Some incredible tries and a superb team performance. Well done lads.

Willie Poching's over the top response is wrong I think. It's just a bad day at the office.

Willie Poching's over the top response is wrong I think. It's just a bad day at the office. That's not a bad day at the office. He should apologise, I would expect a Salford coach to do the same. Either way, couldn't care less tbh. Delighted with the win and hopefully makes a few people on here give their head a wobble with some of the negativity that has been spouted in the past few weeks.

As somebody said like watching Watkins side of the 70s. Our bare bones pack held theirs and our back line unbelievable, . Got to back Gerrard or somebody with cash for the future….like the New England Cricket Team….attack attack attack.
Blown away

I can't agree with you, it's just sport and there will be bad days and we need, at all times, to get a grip and some perspective.

Totally blown away by our free flowing attacks and wakey's turnstile defence!! Dupree and Gerrard lay the foundation for some fantastic expansive rugby today some real eye catching tries. Hopefully that should see us in SL for another year,we now need to build on this and batter wire next week

Can you send me the link for the quote you have then please, as I may have not got the full one as only going off the BBC quote. That one read mearly about the lack of a workman like performace and apologising to supporters. Which is a totally acceptable response from a coach whose team just got walloped in my eyes. However if this isn't the fully quote, then I'm intrigued to see what else he said?

Well ten mins in I was not expecting a record win yesterday, outstanding performance 1-17. Here is hoping we can replicate some of that attacking thrust v Wire who were shocking v Hull. Croft just get better and better, other than Lomax has to be the outstanding 6 in Super League, forwards were also Strong. If we defend well against Wire next week we can beat them if the attack clicks.

I watched highlights and we looked fast and free flowing, was great to see, especially with a 19 man squad to choose from aswell, hats off to them all

I think the key thing with this team is whether the passes stick or not. They play the same way in most games - move it a lot, get it wide. When the passes stick we do ok and can defend. When they don’t we end up doing too much defending and concede
We can grind a bit - 1st game v Leeds at home, Wigan away in league. But our smaller pack makes that more difficult in most games.
Yesterday they stuck, hardly any handling errors and that, coupled with poor Wakefield defending, gave us the big win
